Thank you so much for showing tutorials with paint pens and also some that are little easier. Really love your work and your tutorials are really nice to watch.
I have been using the paint pens for outlining because I don’t have a steady hand. It makes it a lot easier. Sometimes they still are not perfect but oh well. I like your owls.
Absolutely adorable! For some reason I'm very fascinated with this art process. Perhaps is the Simplicity and repetitious Ennis of it. I'm good at a lot of other creative things group this is something new to me and the results are really professional looking rather than just looking homemade. :-) :-)
Ooh, thank you for getting me in more trouble, Rachel!! 😂 I do have some pens already that I can try. I'm still not brave enough to try resin, although it's on my art supply cabinet.b
Just bought paint pens. I used them a lot a few years ago painting rock houses. Great for detail, window panes flowers and vines growing up wall, bricks and so much more. More colors available now. I love mine. Try them out rock painters
@@frecklesrcute78 Posca pens are great. For fine line black, I like Sukura's Pigma Micron - you can pick them up at Michae's. They're waterbased (which is what you want). Just make sure they're dry before you varnish. Happy painting.
Those owls look so cute and beautiful,I would love to get my hands on those pens,,, they look awesome,,, I was also wondering what fabric paints would look like on a stone, they do take longer to dry, but I think it can be done, and they come in glitter ,,crystal,, that's my favouret ,,, metallic,, pearl ,,,and puffy,, and proberly a lot more let me know what you think of the fabric paint idea🌺🏵🌹🌷👍
Please tell me this video is on increased speed and you don't paint this fast, or I will truly give up. Even with paint pens I cannot paint that even and smoothly , fast or slow. You make it all look so easy and gorgeous, Rachel. You are a born artist!
I got this drying tip from another crafter that uses acrylic paint. She puts everything in the oven. I want to say her name is Kelly Barlow. Preheat oven to 130 degrees Fahrenheit. Put what needs to dry on a cookie sheet and within 3-7 minutes you have a dry product. 💕💕 Hope that might help.
@@frecklesrcute78 Hi. When using a hair dryer, make sure it's on the lowest setting (or just blow out) because the heat can change the color and the surface will be dry to the touch, but depending on how thick the paint is, the layers beneath it won't have a chance to dry. Hope that helps.
Do you have a tutorial on how you seal them.I love the idea of painting stones but havent done any yet and people seem to use different sealers. What is your preference,if you don’t mind me asking 😊
Could you please tell your opinion and compare pen and paint?! Which one better or what advantage and disadvantages. I see you use mostly paint, so you don’t like pen, why??
I've been thinking of adding paint pens but have never used them before. I belong on fb to a rock painting group called Racine Rocks....and some of them say the color they have the most trouble with is White. Any brand recommended?? 💟 you guys! Hugs from Wisconsin
Did you clear coat this to weather proof for outside? Wondering if you could recommend a clear coat for these paint pens? I bought a Krylon UV Clear coat and this Pintar Pen "ink" bled...
Oh Rachel! Do you ever make anything that ISN'T beautiful? I doubt it. I'm still struggling with the fine liner brush and I'm getting very frustrated. Is it cheating to use the marker for lines instead?

I have two resin tutorials in my video list❤️
Stunning as usual 🥰 do you seal the rock with anything prier to using the resin

This has definitely been sped up quite a lot!! I've never been able to paint this fast or smooth lol😁
You may not paint that fast but you do paint smooth. I've watched you in action. It is amazing!.
Você é muito simpática! Apesar de não entender nada do que fala kkk

@@GeorgeontheRocks yep I know 🙂
I tried that with tiles....bubbled up my paint and ruined it....I was so bummed

Melanie Charlton, I know she uses Art Resin. There's a video on her channel.
Here is the link to my resin tutorial ruclips.net/video/76K9Exf-v6Q/видео.html
Thank you Sunshine❤️
Joan Kappers Thankyou 😊
Rachel's Rocks Canada thankyou
Que practicos los plumones
Do you resin the back as well?
How do you think this would look on a Sanatori stone?

I see people love the posca brand!
I miss your super-duper lining paint brush.... :-(
It will be back 😁 tutorial over the next few days!!
What kind of pen you are using?
What are the best markers for painting rocks or any material
Posca and Pintar for paint pens, and markers run when you seal them sometimes😢 so be careful with markers. But I have used Sharpies 😁
I love him what's not to love .
Unfortunately they do not ship to Nova Scotia, Canada. :(
Are you using acrylic markers or oil based?
Only acrylic 😃
@@rachelsrockscanada thank you so much.
I Love your work.

I used resin and it holds up great outside ❤️
@@rachelsrockscanada thank you!
Also try using mod Podge to cover paint pens once dry. Then resin 😁
Thank you so much! I found your resin tutorial video. Love watching all of your videos and seeing your beautiful art!
Troppo brava

Awe🥰 it gets easier with time!! ♥️ You can use whatever you feel more comfortable with 😁💓
Marcy, not cheating at all!! Most beginning artists will trace first.
USA 11$ for 12 and 18$ for 24.
Not a bad price. On Amazon.
Merci beaucoup
I sometimes blow on it as I am painting it. LOL
👏👏👏❣️❣️❣️
I like..
