And Tom Seduced us as dream, not only by his voice but look, coldness, behavior... He made us believe he IS the dreaming, Lord Morpheus... Tom Ate, and left no crumbs.
Eh…I still think James McAvoy’s was better.
@@thomaskilroy4573JM is closer to the comics Morpheus in one aspect - his Morpheus sounds dutiful, political, also full of incredibly massive ego & pride. But series toned down his egoism, so this Morpheus is more dreamy, enchanting also he has one important side of him JM didn’t quite captured in audiobooks - comics Morpheus is depressed AF. Tom did a great job with that.
And he fucking nailed it, couldn't imagine a better casting choice.
Can't wait for season 2.

I had never seen or even heard of the sandman, then I was offered a few days work moving filming equipment between sets across the town they were filming in, now I’m obsessed, looking forward to the next season so I can see those scenes I saw being filmed on screen

A fun thing for me as a fan from the U.S., was hearing certain familiar dialogue in a British inflection since I knew less about Gaiman when I first read the series in the 1990s and it had never occurred to me that any of the Endless might share his accent. Duh!😂
He literally said that all Endless are supposed to sound English except Death and Desire.
@@thomaskilroy4573 Yeah I "literally" typed that I knew less about Gaiman in the 90s when I first read the series so I wasn't keen on what he "literally said" about anything; if an inflection wasn't specified by the lettering, I didnt always assume the speaker was British.
I guess he changed his mind, since KHB surely has a strong accent.

These entities are real, that’s the reason why the people who have billions upon billions of dollars are making these shows. They have to pay homage they have to pay respect they have to pay tutelage they have to pay some form of worship onto these entities least their family lives be cursed. They taking money and deals longer than most people know. That’s why the stores are becoming more and more prevalent it low-key started with the show supernatural. There’s been shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer charmed. But supernatural went in debt in a way that many of these other cells didn’t that’s kind of the catalyst that started it off and it was inspired by the hit show Smallville. Because Marvelle was getting into the lore of Superman’s backstory who he is in the intimate details on an alien among us and what that really means.
These Storylines are deep.

Basically Sandman's voice is ASMR coz he should put you to slesp
You do your deepest voice, and then you relax and speak it like a whisper, as if you’re about to fall asleep
I will say, James Mcavoy in the audiobooks is fantastic
The first series I watched in the original because I wanted to hear his wonderful voice

Batman’s voice is far deeper. Tom’s wasn’t even anywhere near that. James McAvoy’s voice for Dream was a million times deeper and more natural.
I preferred James McAvoy’s voice. But Tom’s was still effective enough, though somewhat too whispery at times.
