You mean Paul McCartney with Mick Green, lead guitar and David Gilmour, rhythm guitar. Can’t believe I’m writing “David Gilmour, rhythm guitar,” but there it is.

Great version of Honey Hush. I'm really glad I saw Mick Green, with the Pirates, in the seventies.

Superbly talented guy. Saw him a number of time. Wilko supported them at Dingwalls and he got up and jammed 'Going Back Home' with them. Sublime. RIP two masters of the Tele.

Have you noticed that when Macca gets to play anywhere, he will always do a bit of rock n roll, Dave wants to do a solo by the look of it.
Macca is a good lead guitarist himself, but takes advantage of other greats…..

Anyone else get the sense that David wishes he were somewhere else during this song? Or that he wants it to be done with so he can go home and have some quiet time? Maybe it's just me, but i don't get the vibe that hes enjoying himself.

From a guiotar point of view this is really Mick Green's track, and Gilmour is strumming 3 or 4 chords which isn't a great use of his talents. Have to say that Mick Green really owns it.

Balls.. he's a musician and in the true sense of one he is enjoying every minute of this song.. even he had to play one chord he would have loved it.. just being on stage with these greats is enough to have a satisfactory gig...
