Wow, so good, so elegant, so warm, so Italian. And the performers are so beautiful to watch.
Grazie dall'Italia
This performance of the Adagio is as moving as any I've heard. A tight group and the Bass player is brilliant.
Every instrument sounds spectacularly beautiful, but I was particularly impressed by the bass sound. It adds so much depth to these wonderful pieces. I will come back to this video again and again just to listen to the bass. Bravo!
Everything about this is gorgeous.
More than beautiful. The powerful bass, together with an impressive oboe player, makes this version almost a must for anybody who loves music. Thanks for this miracle.
What an absolutely superb rendition - by far the best I've heard so far!
Thank you for your kind comment!
I loved the entire ensemble with the bass (which added punctuation usually absent.) Lovely American oboe sound--full and very rich. Glad you played the c minor version over the d minor one... so much more depth. I loved the flair/ornaments in the third movement.
Thank you very much for your kind comments!
I can listen to it many times. It is so beautiful, round, mellow.
A definite favorite. What adagio! Thanks.
I can listen to Marcello all day long. The beauty of his composition is uncomperable to any other composer.
Splendid ensemble and such unique ornamentation!
Amazing! I have never listened to a Marcello concerto as moving as this! Somehow, Ms Marchioni coaxed the tears from my eyes during the 2nd Movement. I hope she has more RUclips videos! Thank you -- whoever posted this video for the whole world to enjoy!!!
If you love this concerto, let me tell you , you have a great taste of classical music, and consider me your friend...si te encanta este concerto de Marcello dejame decirte que tienes un gran gusto musical y me puedes considerar tu amigo.
The Adagio is very moving, played beautiful, i enjoyed it very much!

The most beautiful interpretations I ever heard! Congratulations!
Brilliant and refreshing, a great pleasure to watch. Thank you all!
Hermosa como la intérprete del oboe❤❤❤
Magnificent! Fantastic arrangement
Such a beautiful performance. Many thanks UOS for sharing it.
Those Italian composers drive me crazy with their beautiful music!!!, I can't stop listening to them. Love rousing albinoni, marchello, cimaros, vivaldi, an endless list. Hurray to them
I mentioned rossini
Beautiful and an awesome interpretation!
Amazing musicians truly beautiful music well to me it is anyway so lovely.
This concerto is amazing not only in harmony as in sonority. Marcello is an outstanding musician, like Vivaldi, Cimarosa or Albinoni. Relevant in romanticism is the Adagio that is sublime. Viva Marcello that composed this masterpiece that is really a musical poem!!! The orchestra and the oboe player are flawless.Bravo!!!
Wonderful. A heartfelt performance.
Many thanks!
Trés belle inrerprétation. Romantique à souhait. Merci pour ce partage.
Excelente versión. Bravo...!!!!
Beautiful appoggiatura and changes. I collect Marcellos and yours is the best I''ve found. Hope to see you with San Antonio Phil someday. And all I was doing was looking for a backing track to play ths on my soprano sax. My lucky day.
One of the most beautiful pieces of music! Play the Adagio at my funeral
Deft performance, nuanced, & I must say the performers have remarkable poise. Lovely.
This wonderful performance is unrivaled, and a gift for oboe lovers
Thank you for your kind comment!!

A beautiful rendition. It is just me or Ms. Marchioni, the soloist had something in her eyes after the 2nd. movement...? ;). Moving indeed.
😀😀
Remarkable representation!!!
Alessandro or Bernadetto ? Both brothers were fine composers.
Alessandro.

💖❣️🌹✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
Thank you for your kind comments!
love the Baroque embellishments.
The second movement begins sounding like one of Vivaldi's Four Seasons.
Is this tune D minor, not C minor ?
Yes, there is a version in D minor, but also in C minor. This particular performance was in C Minor. Thanks for watching!
Why do they often change from the original key (D minor)....? a mistery....
9:05
C minor sounds way better than D minor
And "il tempo" is not important?
03:50

Overal a beatiful rendition of one of the best pieces of Baroque music, and the young oboist is really very good.
Just for comparison, another performance I like is here ruclips.net/video/aYnU-CaH0bM/видео.html
Thanks for sharing
primo movimento troppo veloce comunque molto bravi

I might like this more if it was the first version I ever heard, but it isn't. All I can say is, look around. In my opinion, there are several much better performances on RUclips. Another performance actually caused my breath to stop during the performance of part two. That has never happened to me before. Still, it's good to see more versions of perhaps my favorite piece of music being added.
7/21/19: I like her performance more this time. I might add that what I didn't like so much about her performance the first time I hear her play were the notes she played. WHAT?? Doesn't every performer use the same notes in the same pattern? Well, that 's what I thought, so when I heard her playing different tunes/patterns from the ones in my first exposure to this piece, I naturally thought that she was making mistakes. That was my mistake. I'm not a student of music, but I have read that there is a tremendous latitude given to oboists, or Baroque oboists, or something like that. I'd have to look it up to get the details, but it seems that, in certain circumstances, they can choose to do what they want within certain restrictions. They can improvise. Who knew? The first jam stars?
Quabledistocficklepo hi, could you please tell me which version of this piece you feel is most breathtaking? Thanks .
Debbie Newman,
I won't say which one is best--it's only one man's opinion, after all--but I will direct you to the performance where I had that experience. Since then,
I've seen other performances that I like even more, but this is the one that changed my life. First loves are that way. Anyway, here it is:

Go make one thousand oboe reeds, practice for a semi forever, grow the nerve to go on stage and be as amazing as this woman, and then post a comment. Best of luck, expert.
@@quabledistocficklepo3597 you do know youre comparing a baroque oboe to a normal oboe?
Salmaan Ahmed,
I just said that there are other performances that I preferred. That's what people do. There are also some versions that use an instrument other than an oboe. I can't now remember what they were, but look around and you'll find them. Personally, I didn't like them, they even offend me, but I guess there are some people who might, and those that do are perhaps writing the same things that the people here are.
Cand canti dupa ureche, n-are cum sa-ti iasa bine o piesa de asemenea complexitate.Ma refer la solist ,desigur.

Just a beautiful performance - except 3rd movement, it's not a rock & roll piece.............. ;-)
sounds like Lothar Koch
