Haters can say whatever they want because we all know this is a very good crawler all the way around maybe the best RTR that doesn’t need everything upgraded how many of us out there paid $500 for an RTR & later on after it doesn’t even resemble the original where did all that money go? So basically we $500 to start & $500 to $600 later we have a crawler that we happy with it. Been there done that minus $1200 🤷🏻♂️
That would be the first thing I’d do metal beadlocks & new tires I’d go with a black wheel with red accents or outer ring. 👍
Sad there are always haters, snobs and gatekeepers in RC it's inevitable. We all win as RC enthusiast with more choices and new products. I'm not loyal to any brand I have Traxxas(only TRX-4) Redcat and Team Associated. Whatever I find I would like I'll get.

Yea but I usually take a couple years to add THAT much to a $500 crawler… much more gradual spending… if I bought a $1200 RC I’d be spending another $500 on a new RC sooner or later instead of upgrades

And nice to see you came around to tuning the foams...softer in front and slightly harder in the rear. I remember you use to run harder foams in the front an I couldn't convince you otherwise. Lol

I have honesty really enjoyed running my fusion, i am gonna put my fusion pro in it but aside from wheels and tires i am happy with how it performs. Redcat did a great job with it.

So hyped for this rig. I absolutely LOVE my VRD Stance, now that its finally finished, Im absolutely grabbing the Ascent Fusion for my class 1 rig now. Its so cool finally seeing all these companies releasing genuinely good comp RTRs, we're just waiting for Element now!

I'll give them credit before i got back into rc i bought gen 8 because git a deal and now own every crawler and for the hate they got ain't justified i have had good luck and i am reasonable on expectations but luke i told my brother i might not buy one now just because ill build what i want but for the new guy i would recommend one depending on what there going to do and it also will make the others innovative more for less thats the big plus i do need to update my old gen 8 axels because of link mounts striped now glued it was passed to my boy and now i gave him 10.3 it gonna be a scale hualer its running 21t holmes rebuildable, 1080 esc 25 kgservo on 2.2.bfg on metal black wagon wheels they fit so well in the wheel archs for appearance but they actually crawl good .
Would you be able to recommend a good, waterproof, 1/10 trail/crawler truck? I bought a 1/24 AX24 4WS and now i want something bigger. It will be my first 1:10, and i’ll use it on mostly dirt and roots. But there are also ravines, and shallow rivers around so some rock crawling is possible.
At least the megalithic gave it the ability to rock crawl. Lots of editing though, how come?

I have question do u think that motor mount setup could be adapted to the gen8 iam turning it now into just a scaler and like modifie it to just be little better because i cant let anthing alone also think of a two speed transverse case because iam going to build a trailer to hual two possible more, double deck maybe and its gonna be all functional as ramps functional duel jack stands when unloading to keep balance i have all plans poorly drawing and found between hydro and electric rams its possible and have a airplane radio to use to control and thought out the wiring functional brake lights and turn the hole nine yards just need to get welder and peirces even thinking of having two of three axels driven to help with off road .
Wish I had a place like that around here.. being new I'll have to explore my area..

I have some designed but right now I'm test printing some for the Ruptures. If these work I may see if I can just scale them up, that doesn't always work though.
Maybe show first drive With is ALL STOCK. Stock tires and wheels. Obviously it will run better with heavier wheels, 3d inserts and great tires. THEN show it on the same lines with the standardized wheel and tire upgrade for a better apples to apples comparison.
I did show it box stock. I can do a stock tire vs these on the lines I have
Joe have you ever thought of making some of your obstacles harder by adding a handful of cement or a couple little slick rocks here and there? These crawlers just walk over everything to the point where it’s hard to see the difference anymore 😅😂

With those sticky tires you should not be getting so much wheel spin and that truck is a belly queen you are way to nice EXO you make great videos but be a little tougher on these companies
