Here are some tips: You CAN defeat a hammer in one cycle. It's harder to do before B2. Instead of mashing A when attacking a ghost, hit A right when they hit the floor. This is much faster. If you press the D-Pad, Luigi will say "Mario?". Just a fun feature.
Boos tip: here’s where you can find some of the boos on the 4th floor go to the room where you battled that boss and go to the door behind the curtains then the boo might be in the suitcase and that’s where you will find the boo and on the 6th floor go to the room where you first see the king ghost and there should be some knight amour check them and a boo will come out of one of those knight amour and that’s all I’m going to tell right now, you don’t have to capture the boos it’s optional but you can if you want to see other boos and all the boos have a name with a boo pun good luck finding all the boos.
Tip for sucking up ghosts: Instead of spamming the button to slam the ghost, click the A button as soon as the ghost touches the ground after slamming it. This technique is known as “Fast Slamming” and it allows to get much more damage done on a ghost in one turn
