    Now that you mention Ashen Hollow, why the hell is that glorious spell not back during all this hero talent stuff.

    I actually don't mind having one hero spec for raid & one for M+ as long as they iron them out to feel good in their respective settings. Could add nice variety. I do hope we see the animations made more impressive. I saw the HotS lasers early on & the visuals seemed dated to me -- especially compared to really beautiful stuff like Voidweaver got.

    i'm 6 minutes into the video and i'm incredibly worried of all the overhealing we are going to be doing.

    I have two big problems with Herald of the Sun. The first one is a gameplay concern and that's that the allies have to be standing in the beams to be healed. Whenever players have to be in a specific spot to be healed by an ability, there are always problems with players not moving appropriately to take advantage of it. My second concern is aesthetic. When I hear about the sun I think of druids, not paladins, so the theme of this tree doesn't feel very good. Everything could be exactly the same, but just generically themed around the light rather than the sun and it would feel so much better as a paladin theme.

      wel there are the sunwalker paladins and i guess since they have been around any other race could've picked it up. I mean it makes me think of the warm feeling sunlight (rays) give you so i'm kinda ok with it.

      @@tftg458 I do realize the sun plays a larger role for Tauren paladins, but that's one race out of all of them and as someone who primarily plays Alliance, that's not a part of the lore that has ever carried any meaning for me. I would rather they went with a more universal paladin theme.

      @@zacharydunn6577 I'm at the other side of the spectrum. I mean there are so many ways you could become a paladin and blood knights, sun walker, naaru (army of the light), the "churchy" human paladins and the Loa paladins. I like all of them and I think it would be a lot cooler if it was referenced more. Altough I think you should have the choice wether to follow one or the other order. I think I remember reading something about them earning their power by being 110% devoted followers of there chosen deities no matter what those deities are. They mostly do seem to look light "light-ish" powers in all cases tho. (For now) Still waiting for my class skins to wear for example the more blue-ish light of the kyrians for example. I'm all for customisation but I do think there should always come a choice and some CORRECT/ believable lore with it.
      Don't get me wrong, you're opinion is as valid as mine. But that's just how I think about it.

    • @tftg458
      @tftg458 Месяц назад

      Also... Sorry for the long messages... But I think we are at a point in the lore now that pretty much any race could learn any class from any other race and the origin of their power.

    • @zacharydunn6577
      @zacharydunn6577 Месяц назад +1

      @@tftg458 I will agree with that last point. There's no reason paladins shouldn't be available to all races by now. We've had in-game Night Elf paladins since Legion and we still can't play them.

    I just came back to the game. Im curious is holy paladin strictly back to melee healing? or is ranged holy still possible even at the highest content

      It's going to be a numbers game and has nothing to do with the talents themselves.
      We are only doing this semi-caster style because spenders barely heal anything and to conserve mana with IoL

      Almost every holy paladin is now a caster paladin. Not through choice, but because that is the only way to play effectively. You can always play as you want. Some do. They suffer. I don't see anything from these new hero/talent trees that will change this. What would have been better was to split the tree into caster and melee, allowing you to choose a viable spec based on your fight. If melee seems too dodgy, switch to caster. If caster feels blah, switch to melee. And of course none of this changes the real issue with Holy Paladin. Cooldown bloat. You spend so much time keeping track of cooldowns now, the game just passes you by. Sure you have to be aware, but that's it. There's no admiring the scenery - because if you do, you'll miss that next cooldown.

      Lots of cooldowns is fine, using one for every Situation. Not every healer has to be simpled down to nonsense Like disc got. Super boring to Play If you Press the Same 3 Buttons every DMG Event. But the Problem is, the output of HPal is super bad, DT healing almost nothing when Not combined with BoV. The different CDs are super weak and having to Cast a lot sucks as melee.
      Meanwhile Other healers got what was considered too OP on HPal. E.g. Look at hold priest. They throw LoH Like Instant Spells and top peoole with one or two GCDs.
      Holy Power is almost completly useless right now and you dont really need to track it, only the Dawn stacks are important now. Imagine rouge Players should completly ignore their combo points
      The need to make a complete rework of HPal again or start to Shift Power around.

    Ahoy Mythology! I think my previous comment was deleted by the auto-Mod for posting a link. I think Paladins should have 2 charges of Judgment. I made a WoW Paladin-Forum Post arguing for my stance. Since it seems like I can't link it here the title of the post is: "@Devs: Paladins should have 2 charges of Judgement, via changing the Talent “Justification”". If you agree with my proposal it would certainly help to have it repeated by a respected Holy Paladin such as yourself.
