It's going to be a numbers game and has nothing to do with the talents themselves. We are only doing this semi-caster style because spenders barely heal anything and to conserve mana with IoL

Almost every holy paladin is now a caster paladin. Not through choice, but because that is the only way to play effectively. You can always play as you want. Some do. They suffer. I don't see anything from these new hero/talent trees that will change this. What would have been better was to split the tree into caster and melee, allowing you to choose a viable spec based on your fight. If melee seems too dodgy, switch to caster. If caster feels blah, switch to melee. And of course none of this changes the real issue with Holy Paladin. Cooldown bloat. You spend so much time keeping track of cooldowns now, the game just passes you by. Sure you have to be aware, but that's it. There's no admiring the scenery - because if you do, you'll miss that next cooldown.

Lots of cooldowns is fine, using one for every Situation. Not every healer has to be simpled down to nonsense Like disc got. Super boring to Play If you Press the Same 3 Buttons every DMG Event. But the Problem is, the output of HPal is super bad, DT healing almost nothing when Not combined with BoV. The different CDs are super weak and having to Cast a lot sucks as melee. Meanwhile Other healers got what was considered too OP on HPal. E.g. Look at hold priest. They throw LoH Like Instant Spells and top peoole with one or two GCDs. Holy Power is almost completly useless right now and you dont really need to track it, only the Dawn stacks are important now. Imagine rouge Players should completly ignore their combo points The need to make a complete rework of HPal again or start to Shift Power around.

Hey Dimitar, To answer your question, both are very interactive with our kit, each week they are adding more changes to increase the power of Flameshaper. In raid you can echo Engulf on Dreambreath targets and bounce more DB's on targets (through travelling flame). DB TA Engulf takes your count from 5 to 10 DB's (assuming your Echos go on those with DB) and you can manually echo more people with DB and spread even more. The Consume portion does not echo, but this could be an engaging way to play in raid. Not to mention the large amount that Flameshaper buffs blossoms through Enkindle and Fan the Flame. Both feel extremely good to play, i can't stop playing the alpha honestly. It just brings so much more to evoker and it FEELS good!

@@questionablyepic The wording of Life Giver's Flame sounds like the DoT damage also transfers to healing but it's been difficult to catch if that's happening in gameplay I've seen. In that case it would make Lifeforce Mender relatively strong when taken with all the +stamina, +magic damage, +max health talents? How does the additional damage get added in to Fire Breath specifically, does it only add to the initial damage or onto the DoT in some way as well? Is Lifeforce Mender comparable to the additional damage/healing you get from Enkindled in a way that you could take one or the other if you want to free up points on either tree? When Lifeforce Mender says Fire Breath does extra damage *and healing* does that apply to the healing it does via Life Giver's Flame or is the +healing only referring to Living Flame? I can see that running into some infinite scaling problems when a spell is dipping into spellpower, stamina, damage transferring into healing and additional damage and healing all at the same time, but maybe it's not enough to actually add that much healing, as I haven't really seen it brought up yet. I can envision some really odd combos with using Emerald Communion with Rush of Vitality to buff Fire Breath even further for damage and healing but I'm not sure that would be practical. Stasis seems like a very interesting and flexible spell, and trying to wrap my brain around all the potential ways it could be used to handle different raid mechanics seems really exciting and almost limitless! I'm not sure what "helpful spells" means exactly, as when Towellie was testing it you couldn't store Dream Flight for example. Does it count Rewind, Time Dilation or Fly With Me? Lifebind sounds like it may interact with Echo in some unforeseen ways so I'm interested to see how that plays out if it does. How much subsequent healing does the alternate self that procs from Time of Need actually do for the 8 seconds? From watching it doesn't seem like very much. What does the new talent Flow State actually do? I'm guessing it's some combo of haste, cast speed, movement speed, or essence regeneration? TIme Lord now makes Echo duplicate 120% of healing. Does Resonating Sphere mean that Echo is applied at 30% of 120%? Which would be 36% effective healing duplicated, or 30% of 70% which would be 21%, or is it just its own Echo buff that duplicates 30% healing specifically? The wording seems like it's the former, but I'm curious. How does Fly With Me interact with macros, as I don't think it would be possible to use either a mouseover or @cursor macro with it? Not a huge deal, but it may be annoying to have to manually target someone and then also place the reticle to use the spell, especially in the heat of the moment, when both of those are things I'm used to not having to click to do. To me Preservation seems potentially pretty deep in terms of how different spells and talents might be combinable and I don't see a lot of discussion about it so I'm just curious! Yeah, it seems so clunky to play and you can do any reaction spells, that's so fucked up
