Cliff Richards and The Shadows brings back great memories of my early appreciation for music. My brother in law opened up huge horizons for me, which made me appreciate all music and gave me an eclectic and great appreciation for all music, from the Ventures, Everly Bros. ,R&B, English Blues, Beatles, Marvin Gaye (Motown) and on and on. This was a time for great music from the mid 50"s through the late 70"s. Thank you for all the good memories!

I remember when I was 19 I’m 43 now and I went to London to listen to Cliff, and it is the only time I heard my father shout out loud as Cliff came up through the stage, and it was the 40th year, I’m going to make from a distance after writing this, I did the millennium prayer for Christ as on my channel, and it came out great, so sad he stepped back because of his home raided by the police which didn’t show nothing, just a witch hunt, he never released a single into the charts after that, thank you Cliff for all you did for us, a legacy you’ve left for generations to come, Elvis though Cliff was his rival, God bless Cliff, thank you for the great records you left for us. God bless you in Jesus name.

Loved Cliff for over 60 yrs. Seen him in Concert in Glasgow Scotland for the first time ever . This year lm heading to Scotland my home of birth to go to his 80 th Birthday Concert at Glasgow Concert Hall . Been postponed till this year. Can’t wait praying Covid will stay away . Enjoyed this fantastic "Cliff Richard's 60 Years Variety Show!' Pity, though that the 'sound people' messed it up for a bit. I met Cliff twice, and one time in The Netherlands, in Valkenburg, September 18 1965 where he was performing at the Euro Hall, together with "The Shadows", My friends and I wanted to have an autograph on a postcard that I had (showing him and a Dutch singer Imca Marina). We 'sneaked' past 'security' and went to his trailer; then 'a guy' opened the trailer door, and I asked if Cliff was there, upon which 'this guy' answered: " I AM ClIFF RICHARD!' Truth of the matter is that he, Cliff, had changed his hair-do! I got the autograph on my card, eventually. I still have the autographed card, but I don't know where.
It is totally shocking how bad the general sound was for such an important event and global star to sing to this disaster. I think even the worst karaoke KJ have better sound mixing than this lol Nevermind Sr Cliff next time you are in South Africa we will do the sound for you lol

My cherished memory of Cliff Richard was when he lived in Northclife Drive, Totteridge in north London not far from me, where I met a lady walking her dog as was I,and she suggested that we should wish him a happy 32nd birthday. He came out and chatted to us saying that he was to sing one song each week on the Cilla Black show where eventually "Power to all our friends" won the nomination for Britain's entry to Eurovision. Little did I know that he would go on for another 50 years. "Congratulations" Sir Cliff and wish you many more years of success and happiness.🎉❤

1 was there with my mum ,and she had the night of her life... shes followed cliff since 1958 and is still as nuts about him today... ... what fantastic night.. to be sitting in the same room as all of these legends of showbusiness and having a three course meal just 3 tables away was just surreal... cost me a fortune but was worth every penny... when we were going in the reception area, my mum bumped into this bloke, and quickly apologised, then suddenly exclaimed "i know you" to which he replied you definatly know me but i dont know you.. ..later we realised it was brian bennet lol.... fantastic night ..,
