When you talked about inputs and outputs it actually reminded me of a lesson I learned about how learning actually works where they separate it in two parts, Theory and Practice. It basically said that Theory is knowledge, facts, and otherwise information that you need to begin learning, and Practice is the active application of theory. From what I've seen the Practice aspect is undervalued significantly and the Theory part is overvalued, but they are both necessary. The point is that most of your time learning should be spent in the practice phase, using the theory only as a catalyst to make sure you are practicing correctly.

I was really struggling at math and getting jealous of my classmates always getting A+ but then i saw the (i cant do that...YET) line that yet has given me so much motivation to study right now..
Didn’t finish watching the entire video yet, but I used to watch tone of tutorials and stuff to learn coding, and never learned/progresssed, however it wasn’t until recently that I decided to use the little knowledge I had to start creating a game, that I truly grasped a tone of knowledge, this time when watching tutorial I know perfectly what I’m looking for, there are instances I figure things out without the need of a tutorial or external source. I’d say, lack of interest pulls people back a lot, and in my case it wasn’t until I had a goal in mind to get a game down that I had the peak of interest and consistency to finally become able to script almost everything I can think of. Took 2 months to be that confident. It’s the point where, you know what things you might not be able to achieve, but know perfectly how to achieve it.
I love how this video managed to make me feel like I can conquer the world... right after I nap to consolidate all that motivation into my brain. BRB, growing as a person!
Oh man. This is one of the best videos I’ve ever seen, and I’m trying to get into IT. The problem? I had a stroke when I was born (premature birth) and also have ASD. For me, the best way to describe my mind would be a kitchen sponge that can only hold half its total volume of water at any given time. Memorization is great, but I’m not actually _learning_ unless I’m _doing._ And unfortunately, our class is online and is structured in such a way where learning is memorization-based, and doing is a short series of virtual “drag and drop” labs. It really isn’t amounting to anything in the way of hands-on experience. That is until we get employed. At the beginning of the video, it was so damn relatable that all school did was focus on memorization being retention, _not_ application. Translate that to the working world when we get out of Highschool, and it’s like having to relearn how to walk before we can run. And regardless of my own struggles, I can safely speak for all of us in saying that we’re all stuck here. Thank you for helping us get out of it!
Video was so effective, that to understand and memorize everything advised in video, I first watched it regularly, then rewatched it on 2x speed and then revised it
The 80/20 method was such a game changer for me when I started martial arts. I was so focused on doing every cool technique I could learn, watched videos on how to do them, searched up special training routines, but I overlooked the most important part which, for me at least, was also kind of boring, and that’s, the basics. How could I do all these cool moves if I couldn’t even do a simple jab or kick? From then on, I spent all my focus on learning the basics, basic techniques, basic defense, basic warmups. I can say that it was for sure a game changer for me, despite it being the most obvious.
You literally are the only or maybe the few of the few in youtube that really does provide concise and informative information while giving precise solutions, i love ur videos man the quality is insane HOPE U KEEP UP THE QUALITY you are on the start of creating something absolutely beauitufl ❤
Another thing, regarding teaching it yourself is that this is an incredible way to learn by “teaching it” to a mentor of yours. Because of their understanding, this will give them an in-depth look at what you know and don’t know and maybe find holes they were previously unaware of
Information has really good structure , ideas are simple, but really necessary, pictures catch my eye, also you speak really properly, very nice job, I wish I will see more of your videos!
The way I learn is that I'll learn some of the basics and then try to figure out as much as i can myself until my brain feels like it's burst, but in a good way and then I try to find the answers again, next thing you know I end up making logical conclusions in which I found out later to be correct, and even creating logical conclusions and considerations others did not make and can't bring themselves to understand. Of course, the ideas and solutions tend to have a rough start or even be silly. I think it is important not just to increase your knowledge but also your intuition. Having ADD, I can get very hyperfocuse and intuitively come up with ideas or solutions, especially ones that end up actually working or are correct, produces a lot more dopamine than just memorizing information. This is something I naturally did, and it has always frustrated me when people can't do the same, and I have to explain every little thing to them, and it can be especially frustrating when you have to explain your intuition in a way they can understand.
Woah. I've been deep diving in the science of learning for a while and you nailed all of the important practices that are studied in such a simple and understandable way. Great video!
Now that I realize, this is the way I learned to solve a Rubik's cube, I saw videos of how to solve again and again, I tried again and again, and puff! For some time I tried to memorize the steps, but now I just see the patterns and I already know what to do, it's just now printed in my mind XD.
Bro thanks i had your video lock in for 2025 on watch later for few days and i finally decided to watch it. The content you deliver the messege is amazing. Thank you a lot ❤ ( keep it coming ).
Amazing ! As someone who is learning disabled but present as typical, I found I excel in a profession that utilizes my strengths! I am shocked how some people can learn something with such min. effort! My strengths are empathy, trusting my instincts and recognizing progress! The rest doesn't serve me!
When I WANT to do something, I jump into doing something and then fill in the gaps in my information as I go. And because of that, rather than making myself feel like I’m slamming my head into the wall, I form a positive feedback loop in which I don’t feel miserable the entire time, because I actually enjoy the process. Of course, if I DON’T want to do something but have to, I have trouble getting into that loop because the act of doing it gives me the same sense of slamming my head into the wall, because doing something I don’t enjoy feels physically painful. And because of that, I tend to be really good at learning and doing things I enjoy, and really terrible at the things I don’t
I really wish I had actually done this when I was younger. I realized this when I got a job, and really felt the ineffective nature of how I was studying before. Even now I revert to cramming sometimes, and it’s still useless.
I actually did and still do active recall to this day when preparing for tests but I just didn't know it was a thing. I remember in 7th grade while everyone was staring at the review I was just sitting there waiting to do active recall again
6:26 as a bilingual speaker that speaks Spanish and english(Spanish is my native language)I mostly don’t even realise that I’m learning words and perfecting words just watching RUclips like yea,I learn some words in school but they’re mostly never gonna use that on my life like why would need to know what an objective adverb is?!?ok fine I will stop trashing at school. But my point is that This video = amazingly objectively very good!

I'd love if you can do make a playlist of all your videos
Will do soon, thank you!
❤❤❤
Your advice is very helpful. In fact, i think it's one of the best videos I've seen on this topic.
Glad it was helpful!
I appreciate this!! This has been the confirmation i needed currently in massage school and these medical terms LOL but i am goin to get it
I just realized I rarely tried to learn anything fully
❤❤❤
The 80/20 method was such a game changer for me when I started martial arts. I was so focused on doing every cool technique I could learn, watched videos on how to do them, searched up special training routines, but I overlooked the most important part which, for me at least, was also kind of boring, and that’s, the basics. How could I do all these cool moves if I couldn’t even do a simple jab or kick?
From then on, I spent all my focus on learning the basics, basic techniques, basic defense, basic warmups. I can say that it was for sure a game changer for me, despite it being the most obvious.
❤❤❤
You literally are the only or maybe the few of the few in youtube that really does provide concise and informative information while giving precise solutions, i love ur videos man the quality is insane HOPE U KEEP UP THE QUALITY you are on the start of creating something absolutely beauitufl ❤
Thank you so much! I really look forward to that something absolutely beautiful
THANKSSSSS FOR THE CONTENT. I FEEL A LOT OF THING BECAME EASIER❤❤❤
@@Marsyal-y4m You're so welcome
Good content mate!!
Keep it up. World needs more aware people like you.
You are a GREAT teacher. :)
This is something I naturally did, and it has always frustrated me when people can't do the same, and I have to explain every little thing to them, and it can be especially frustrating when you have to explain your intuition in a way they can understand.
you earn my subs bro continue yo great work
Man I´d have needed this video 10 years back when I was in school😂
Woah. I've been deep diving in the science of learning for a while and you nailed all of the important practices that are studied in such a simple and understandable way. Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Wow it’s the first time that I’m watching a video from this channel and it’s completely amazing
Thank you, I've been asking myself this question for days now.
No worries!
I have truly used deliberate practice to learn a skill, and it has helped me improve very quickly.
Same actually!
I always start my day with one of guys videos. Love this man so much
Now that I realize, this is the way I learned to solve a Rubik's cube, I saw videos of how to solve again and again, I tried again and again, and puff! For some time I tried to memorize the steps, but now I just see the patterns and I already know what to do, it's just now printed in my mind XD.
You’re a brilliant guy trying to help others and I’m a struggler and I hope this motivations and help will get me in good life👌👍
❤❤❤

After a hard 1st semester and realizing it wasn’t sticking, this video came at the perfect time.
Thankyou man for explaining this so well!
Happy to help!
Love your videos man
0:30 love this part
Ha, love it. I already do this. I taught myself how to play basic piano in a few weeks like this over the holidays.
thank you for helping me
next level quality content, take care and keep it up
Your videos are amazing and REALLY helpful. Thanks!
Amazing ! As someone who is learning disabled but present as typical, I found I excel in a profession that utilizes my strengths! I am shocked how some people can learn something with such min. effort! My strengths are empathy, trusting my instincts and recognizing progress! The rest doesn't serve me!
Lots of opportunities waiting for you I'm sure!
i think this video really helped myself, Thanks.
This came on time, i have new exams in school after winter break and i really need to study now😭
You got this!
that was literally what i needed. thanks someunf(etc)guy and thanks youtube for the reccomendation :)
This channel has honestly helped me so much. I really hope you grow super big one day dude, the stuff you’re doing is awesome. Keep posting man
@@The_Sigma_Radio_Demon Will do! I'm glad I could help, thanks so much!

Thank you bro im going to try this out!
Have fun!

I really wish I had actually done this when I was younger. I realized this when I got a job, and really felt the ineffective nature of how I was studying before. Even now I revert to cramming sometimes, and it’s still useless.
bro is so real.
also: i wanna know steps on how you make these animations come to life, looking forward to hearing from you. thanks!
🙂
This is the best chanel so far thank you
I hope. Thank you!
But my point is that
This video = amazingly objectively very good!
Thanks for this video ❤
My pleasure 😊
Best advice I've heard in a long time
Great video! Thanks!
bro is the greatest teller in the world!!
You deserve a sub
Thank you 🙏
I agree, except for languages
after all most of the work is comprehending somebody and being able to reply, so the first thing is the most important
I absolutely love his style.
