Inside Ted Kennedy’s Final Days

  • Ten years ago, Ted Kennedy passed away from cancer at 77. The youngest member of the Kennedy clan, Ted’s life saw much heartbreak as he buried his brothers, President John F. Kennedy and Robert Kennedy, both of whom were assassinated. He also faced his own scandals including the infamous Chappaquiddick car crash that killed his passenger, Mary Jo Kopechne. But Kennedy became a thunderous voice in the senate where he served for 47 years. #InsideEdition

    You can see the pain just mentioning JFKJr. He was truly the father for all of Jack and Bobby’s children. He didn’t ask for that burden but as a person who loved his family and his late brothers he too on that responsibility. I give him props for that. A lot of kids DADS leave under easier circumstances let alone a young guy who takes in his brother’s kids as his own. For everything else that kinda wipes away things. He made over 10 children’s lives better by sticking around for them.

      @@stormywhether4199 GOD Bless You as well! I think Senator Kennedy despite his many faults was a great man and a darned good public servant. Sad Camelot is now becoming a distant memory. Was a magical time in DC when President Kennedy, his elegant Wife, and beautiful children lived in the White House, while his brothers worked in the Oval Office/West Wing and the floor of the Senate. There will never be a time like that again. As a Catholic despite my parents shift from the Democratic Party to the Republicans we always revered the Kennedy Family. They broke the glass ceiling for Catholics in America to the point we actually felt like this was truly our country and not just a place that tolerated us.
      President Biden’s election shows how far we’ve come in that being Catholic wasn’t an issue. John Kerry’s losing run didn’t see the Catholic taboo brought up either. The Kennedy’s were responsible for that. For that reason alone I like them and always will. Three of the four Kennedy Brothers gave their lives in the service of this nation not like you would ever see any of today’s rich families sending their sons off to war. They were heroes of this nation even before Jack ran for Congress. In fact his being a war hero got him elected in MA as a Congressman and jump started his career on a whirlwind. The world would be a much better place had John Fitzgerald Kennedy not gone to Dallas and trounced Barry Goldwater in 1964. He would’ve left office still a young man and probably handed it off to RFK in January of 1969 himself acting as an elder statesman the way Nixon did from the early 1980’s until his passing. Being a writer and historian at heart his memoirs would’ve been a best seller.
      THE WORLD got cheated when a chicken little marxist leaned out the window in Dallas with a rifle. It got even worse when that assassin so not nice they named him twice began firing in a kitchen in LA. Losing President Kennedy, MLK, and Senator Kennedy to scum wanting to make a name for themselves have ripple effects that still make waves in this pond called America. Even going on 60 Years this November 22nd the country still feels the loss of this man who’d been 106 Years old but will always be a baby faced young President who is forever 46.

    • @blackpinups
      @blackpinups 4 года назад +3

      @Shinshocks obviously you didn't do research. There wasn't a scratch on him. He didn't have any marks to show that he was a man that escaped out a car, nor did the car show any evidence of someone who pushed their way out. Especially, a man of his size. The roof was dented and the windshield was cracked but the car doesn't show anyone escaped. Teddy had a bad back he couldn't have made it with his bad back. But he made up a heroic story though, problem is he didn't have his daddy there to save him even though the only words his dad could tell him was "Don't do it." When asked if he should make up a story about trying to save Mary Jo. Teddy was trying to cover his butt because he cheated on his pregnant wife and that would mess up the clean image the Kennedy's had at the time. I'm obsessed with Kennedy's and have read all books and watched all documentaries and movies and TV series on them, I know what I'm talking about.
