    People be mindful about these relationships. Don’t be so desperate to be with someone. Recognize the red flags. Love yourself first. I’ve been there. It’s not cute. This is for platonic and romantic relationships. People are scared to be alone but it’s worse being alone with a whole bunch of people around.

    I totally agree with Loni & Jeannie about how some folks be stingy with their money. I remember my best friend at the time who was a quadriplegic (God rest his soul) was blessed with such a giving spirit. He had a lot of close friends and we all would hang out together, using his wheelchair accessible van. All his friends had jobs, however would NEVER offer to put money towards his gas tank. Like Loni, I would pay for the gas because my quadriplegic friend would give one of us his debit card to pay and it made me extremely upset. I would literally watch them spend their money on drinks, foods & other stuff….but would NEVER speak up when it’s time to stop at the gas station (and we hang out a lot back then). They genuinely loved him, but definitely took advantage of not having to spend their money. My friend was the type to insist on paying because he felt if it wasn’t for them he’d be stuck in the house. Although I understood how he felt, I still felt they were being selfish. Allowing us to use his van also saved gas & milage for all of us. I also paid for his meals and other things. I felt his life was pretty difficult being completely paralyzed, so to me it was the least I could do for him….

      specifically, this happened because the birthday girl was a lot richer than her friends.
      if they were all rich, and they went to an expensive place, then the birthday girl shouldnt pay which is what they said before.
      if theyre all broke, then theyd probably go to cheap places and the birthday girl still doesnt pay, which is what theyve said before (and what me and my friends do personally).
      its just when there are huge differences in income, like with actors who are dirt poor one day and millionares the next that this even matters.

      It's funny that I actually come to the same conclusion for the opposite reason. If you feel your partner would snoop through your phone then that's a red flag and why be in a relationship with someone you can't trust. I don't think there should be some huge exchange of passwords but when in the comfort of a LTR at some point you casually share your password because it's a hassle not to. It's kind of weird to me that I would have to wait for my partner to unlock their phone for me to look up directions or call someone when we have been together for years. I'd probably forget their password anyways or they'd have to tell me again when I go to unlock it bc I wouldn't expect them to tell me every time they changed their password. Maybe it's just because I am not a snoopy person that I feel comfortable doing that.

    I don’t agree with the phone password rule. My husband and I never had a need to share it for one to hold and remember. I trust him with his phone if I want to know who or what he is doing on his phone when we are having quality time I just ask, simple. He would also show me his phone 📱 anytime. As far as the Key dilemma we never had those issues since we moved in together so we each had a key. Now Adrienne’s situation was foul. If I was in her shoes I would’ve asked for my keys back and probably would’ve discussed my access to my partner’s place before “living” with him. Then make a decision up front as to whether or not I would stay over as much. He played her and she allowed it. Smh.

Adrienne should have had a conversation with the man before giving up her key, and expecting the same in return, and communicate about dinner plan pay. People cannot read our minds and some people feel differently about giving free access to all their assets and pay 🤷‍♀️

    When they say “password to phone” I don’t think they mean you asking for the password to look through the phone but more like…after a certain amount of time at least for me there is a certain point where maybe my phones dead (because my phones never charged🙄) you could just be like hey babe what’s your password I need to look something up, and they’re comfortable enough to give it to you. I know my bfs password, I’ve maybe only actually had to use his phone a handful of times ever so it’s not like I’m using the code to snoop through text or pics but there’s an openness where he knows if I’m ever on his phone or need to use his password I’m just going to do whatever I need to do, make a call/look something up etc and then put the phone away. It just shows a level of trust and comfortability that I think is normal at a certain point in a relationship. If you’re afraid to give someone your password because you think they want to snoop or that they’re asking because they don’t trust you then you probably shouldn’t be with them 🤷🏽‍♀️

  • @ThatsJasmineNicole

    Im only 22. Im still learning and my mind can change on this in the future. Adrienne mentioned that she’s not going to marry someone if there isn’t already a certain level of openness there. I get that. I get that there are certain fundamentals you should have to prove before you get married. For example, if you have issues staying faithful, obviously I’m not going to get married to you. There is a fine line between that and giving married privileges to someone you’re not married to. I don’t believe in shacking up before marriage for MYSELF. So why would I give you a key? To me, a key says that you live there and that’s your space too. It’s easy to go down that rabbit hole of giving a man your not married to married privileges and I don’t recommend it. Just my biased opinion. But hey, do what works for y’all.

    • @khandibaugh23
      @khandibaugh23 2 года назад +1

      @@rosalinaburton3061 She did not address how much the bill was. Hypothetically speaking, if you take a group of 7 friends to dinner and the bill comes out to 5k, why embarrass yourself by giving $100. Why, as the 2 rich people in the group, one being Loni, would you want to embarrass the ones who can’t afford it. If all they could give is $5 or $100 towards a 5k tab after they were told it was free, that can be embarrassing to some people. Knowing how much the tab cost gives better context to the situation. If I was the rich one in the group I wouldn’t mind paying for my good close friends to hang out on my birthday. Good friends are more important to me.

    • @rosalinaburton3061
      @rosalinaburton3061 2 года назад

      @@khandibaugh23 I don't think it's embarrassing. Your friends, true friends, know where you are financially and will appreciate what you can give. Especially if they got it like that anyway. If it was just any night out, sure, let your friend that got it pay bc they want to but on their birthday it's just stank not to try to cover yourself to some degree. In regards to the 5k bill, there is no way in hell Loni is paying 5K for someone else's birthday dinner. I can't see it. I ain't rich so maybe I just can't relate but I can eat (including drinks) very well for $150 and that's including tip.

    • @khandibaugh23
      @khandibaugh23 2 года назад

      @@rosalinaburton3061 Like you said, your true friends know where you are financially, hence the reason why the birthday girl offered to pay. That part. Also, in their world, which you admit to not being a part of, a “Birthday Bill” could very well be 5k especially in California and depending on the brand of wine/alcohol they are drinking. How do you know they didn’t buy her a gift instead? If the bill was 1k then yeah they probably could’ve chipped in, why wouldn’t you as a real friend. But like I said, knowing how much the bill was brings more understanding to the situation. I wouldn’t invite a friend who I knew didn’t have money like me to an expensive night out without paying, that’s rubbing salt in the wound imo. If you don’t want to pay just invite the friends who can afford it. Again, it depends on how much we’re talking. Or maybe she needs to reevaluate her friends 🤷🏻‍♀️

    • @rosalinaburton3061
      @rosalinaburton3061 2 года назад

      @@khandibaugh23 It is very hard to spend 5K on dinner unless it is an extremely exclusive place or involves some type of entertainment. While you are in a relationship, I do NOT think people need each other's passwords to each other's phones; that is an insecurity thing, not comfortability. What legitimate reason do you need it? I am curious on this..it honestly isn't the other person's responsibility to stroke your ego in that regard. A person can and will cheat whether you have the code or not.
    I know married couples who have trackers on each other's phones and cars.
