- Roger Deakins, ASC is a two time Academy Award winner and 15 time nominee for Best Cinematography.
- George S. Barnes, ASC, Academy Award winner for his work on Hitchcock's Rebecca, is an eight time nominee for Best Cinematography.
- The lenses used on the Eclair NPR were the Kinoptik lenses used on Black Stallion, a film shot by Caleb Deschanel, ASC.
- The Mitchell No. 5 is a hand crank camera used in many silent era films including the early work of Chaplin and Pickford.

Most people don’t realize that this whole video from the grainy black and white and subtitles to the crowns and costumes is a direct homage to “the passion of Joan of Arc” a classic art film from the silent era that critiqued political injustice of the time. So smart. So poignant right now.
What a terrible understanding of what that film was trying to accomplish
It really wasn’t political though. It was just depicting the life and execution of St. Joan of Arc which is a fascinating story by itself.

I recently came across Aly and AJ's old music videos from 13 and 12 years ago, "Potential Breakup Song" and "Like Whoa." As soon as I listened to those songs again, it brought me back to those fun times when I was 10 years old and thought songs like that were so cool. I still like them. I decided to search Aly and AJ's RUclips channel and it just truly amazes me and warms my heart that they STILL make music to this day. I'm glad they didn't give up on it.
