Even though Peter could see perfectly without his glasses after getting his powers, he had to keep wearing them to avoid suspicion of being Spidey. After Pete won the Fisk Science Prize, he was able make up an excuse saying he got laser eye surgery, no longer needing to wear his glasses to avoid suspicion.
Thats a cool detail!
Yeah he literally do the "Clark Kent" effect. And a reference to how in the original comics Peter still used his glasses until later on. Peter getting rid of his glasses right after getting his powers is a thing that the Ultimate Comics, and the other adaptations implement Spider-Man.
guess contact lenses dont exist in the insomniac universe? cause he literally could have just said he had contacts
@astrohilfiga6966 I mean as someone who have glasses contact lenses are expensive. And also most version of Peter reveal doesn't like Contact Glasses. Which would be suspicious if someone who doesn't like contact glasses wear one
I love how Yuri Lowenthal is in his fifties, but can still voice a teenager.

Yeah he definitely looks like 1610 Peter Parker from the Ultimate comics and a bit of Tom Holland as well.

Steve Ditko's version of Peter Parker looks entirely different.
After seeing this, I think a Spider-Man origin game wouldn't be so bad
It could be something similar to Batman: Arkham Origins.
Crazy how he was this young when he faught the lizard and other villains
He look so dorky and nerdy but is won all is fight
I think Vulture, Shocker, and presumably Kingpin were the only villains he had fought at this point. I assume villains like Lizard Electro and Rhino didn’t come around until his college years

My guess is they are using this scene as a test run for a teen spidey prequel that’ll be about the length of the Miles Morales game then release Spider-Man 3

These were probably some of my favorite sequences in the game, they were so heartfelt and nostalgic. I'd absolutely love a game with this Peter.

We've got a "Spider-Man: Miles Morales" game, so in my opinion a good prequel game would be "Spider-Man: Peter Parker"

Spider-Man: Genesis. It would work tough if they do the same thing as Arkham Origins. Not showing the origin itself but time skipping a week or two after Ben's dead. Hell they even could start it as the Spider-Man: The movies game with the first boss being Uncle Ben's killer.
Spider-Man: Peter Parker wouldn't be that good. Better Spider-Man: Genesis

A nice nod to the comics, where Peter used his glasses for a pretty long time, i'm not sure if he quit using them in college
@@matberte7159He got a fight with Flash Thompson where his glasses breake and then he just discovered that he didn't need his glasses after all. There, Peter knew he didn't need them right away but still kept them to maintain his secret identity similar to Clark Kent.
