Separation of Church and State is one of the things that our Country was founde3d on.
Yes. Some of my ancestors fled Switzerland and came here to escape persecution--they were Mennonites. Even as a Christian, I 100 % support and will defend separation of church and state. A state religion and draconian laws will never change hearts and minds.
Somehow too many people forget how their ancestors came here solely due to their religious beliefs. I'm Catholic and I don't preach to anyone about my religion. Have a religion or don't it is your choice and you should be allowed in this country to choose. Hopefully enough people will come to realize that!

It is the Bible of God and his son Jesus, who was written by the deciples Jesus chose. They are the only chosen. Not a state, not a country, not a man. He is a false prophet looking for profits to line his pockets. My church hands out free bibles to it congregation. The Bible is free to read in a public library. The Constitution and Bill of Rights, etc...are also free to read in a library or even online for free. And the fact he states this is the only Bible that is endorsed by him is blasphemous. As if to say the Bible that has been around for centuries is not good enough. He's looking for money and votes.

The word “make” has gravely different connotations in “Make America Pray Again” than it carries in “Make America Great Again”. I didn’t think much of “make America Great Again”. It was problematic, to say the least. It’s more problematic now, after years of watching MAGA politicians gradually say the quiet parts out loud. “Make America Pray Again”, though…that’s just plain chilling. You can invite them to pray. Or persuade them. Or urge them. Or teach them. But, “make” them? How do you go about “making” someone pray? I can’t think of any non-violent way. Can you?
I hope the IRS is collecting taxes. Including the constitution makes it not really a religiously exempt thing. If I was arguing in court I would argue that if it’s tax exempt because it includes the Bible, then I can include the Bible in all products to avoid taxes.

I think it's quite likely that Trump edited out or rewrote the parts of the Bible that made him look bad. He has being doing that to the "New York Times," the "Washington Post," "The Atlantic magazine" and others.

I live in the deep South, even down here, where Evangelicalism is ripe and Christians are "majority" religiously, there are those of us that completely reject him. He is a global danger I will not vote for him. I encourage others not to vote for him. I'm horridly disappointed that he has been allowed to get away with things that the common person would have been thrown behind bars for. They keep stretching it out. I see that as judicial failure.

What's the problem with declaring the United States a Christian nation? Hindus have India. Jews have Israel. Buddhists have Thailand, Tibet, etc. Muslims have Saudi Arabia, Iran, etc. Why should Christian majority countries be the exception? Christian values strengthen democracy. Christianity sees every person as an end and not a means. It advocates for moderation instead of greed. It promotes solidarity instead of atomism.
