Second story - wild of the husband to say his wife has no business telling his sister what to do in her own home but it’s chill for the sister to tell his wife and him what to do with their own child??? The mental gymnastics of men🤸♀️
I agree with the mental gymnastics portion be out of line on the husband’s part but please be more conscious of your language. Do not make this a man to woman issue. There a lot of good men that would not advocate for this same behavior. It furthers the divide between us ✌🏿
Can we finally normalize calling women PDF files what they really are? From the first story, it’s crazy how these people have friends who are fine with their life choices.
monster in law ASSAULTED (and/ or considered battery dependent on jurisdiction) that pregnant lady in the last story. Even throwing WATER on someone (without their consent) can get you arrested. Women, especially elder women are often never held accountable for stuff like this.
Thanks for sharing this story as it is relatable to me. So many children go through these things and never speak about it. Sex and human are a bad combo. They do so many things and hurt their kids and spouse.
Not to cast judgement but between her having the kid at 21 and HER parents not even confronting her about it, just cutting her off, I feel like the woman in the first story has a history of making bad and impulsive decisions without regard for pthers
You pronounced Seán correctly! The á is what makes the "awh" sound you get in the name. If it's just spelt Sean then it should be pronounced like "shen" if we're going by Irish language rules but it's become an acceptable spelling of Shawn/Shaun/Seán
I thought the exact same thing about the pregnancy story. Why on earth would you have told M in the first place? That seems like a conversation with a close friend, not someone you see infrequently in a group setting 🤔
(yes I'm going back through and relistening to old episodes because I'm now on the patreon and want context for the 🎶ooh ooh ooh weekly bonus episodes🎶) About people not having babies on 9/11 anymore. I recently had a kid (he's 9 months old now 🎉) and I was heavily influenced to schedule an induction and not wait for labor to come naturally. This resulted in me having a not-really-an-emergency-but-highly-suggested C-section which I cannot recommend enough. Easy peasy, best thing ever. But regardless, I'd assume that most women are just choosing to get induced on days other than 9/11.
Theo name Jerson, with only obe "e", is Brazilian, although it's moto that common anymore. The only person I've ever Heard with this name was a soccer player from Theo 1970's
Hi Guys, I came from tik tok , You probably won't read this, but anyway, if I understood correctly the name of the last story was Jeerson, that is a very common name in many Latin American countries, btw I apologize if I missed something english is not my first language.
Am I the only one who doesn't think the mom from the first story is bad? I don't understand the anger at the mom from the son and the reactions of most comments about it. I'd say that it is weird to have such a big age gap in a relationship, especially when one person is 18 and one is in there 40s. And it must be weird to have someone who was a friend end up in a relationship with your parent but I don't think either of those things make it morally wrong. Idk, I thought that alot of people would just think it's kinda weird and funny, and was surprised by the anger qt the mom. I kinda think as long as they're truly happy and good to each other, i don't think its a big deal or bad.
I totally agree! In my opinion the mom isn’t creepy cause she didn’t pursue the 18 year old, he went after her. The son had a right to be upset, but I think he went too far at the end.
I am assume you're younger? I'm almost 30 years old and an idea of dating even a 24 year old, much less my child's friend, gives me the heebie jeebies. It's not necessarily the age gap itself, it's where you are in life and your maturity. 18 is just one year from 17, and those are definitely children and it is so obvious when you are older. It doesn't matter that he pursued, she should have never even considered it if she was an adult with a brain in her head. I can't imagine how much more disturbing it would be when it is someone your child's age. That could just as well be her child and she's okay with having sex with him and even a relationship??? It is so strange. I assure you, with people like this the attraction doesn't stop to 18 year olds. 18 doesn't look much different from 16, and again, to an adult they look and sound like CHILDREN.
Bro it seems like you didn't heard the full story even her son mentioned it that he wanted her to have a partner BUT where does the hate come from its from her ghosting her son to be with max the ehole time missing her son important moment's and just making excuses to be with her boyfriend and plus going as far as FORGETTING YOUR OWN SON'S BIRTHDAY nah bro that ain't it he was upset because she totally forgot about him during her relationship with her boyfriend and l think his anger is understandable
you just called it weird the whole way thru your comment… then at the end “its not that bad” nahhhh its weird af 😂 its not a random 18 yo kid. Max was her SONS bestie, his only friend… Its weird and inappropriate.
Even if the friend pursued a relationship with the mom it feels predatory due to the huge age/maturity gap. Until about 25 your brain is still developing and in general there are huge differences in maturity/life between each year from about 18 til 25. So the combination of a huge difference in maturity the fact it was a friend of her similar aged child and this happened during the senior year of high school it is very predatory. So the relationship seems wrong just looking at the mom and friend then the mom totally neglected her relationship with her son to be with one of the son’s few friends so there is a lot wrong with this situation and I feel bad for the son and I feel bad for the friend who I feel was taken advantage of. I’m not sure why there seems to be a double standard about older woman having relationships with inappropriately young men but I think it’s wrong especially when it’s commonly joked about boys maturing slower than girls it makes n those relationships seem even more predatory to me. The boys are being manipulated by their hormones and the girls are being manipulated by their emotions it’s still wrong for an adult to take advantage of that and engage in a relationship with a teenager/adolescent
i feel so bad for the son in the first story he didn’t deserve that at all 😭😭 imagine having your mother pick your friend over you
It's bad enough for a parent to skip their child's birthday for any non-emergency reason, but skipping to fuck his best friend is absolutely demonic.
The husband that died two years after the son was born probably dodged the most gigantic bullet ever. That woman is nuts
When Josh’s cam went blurry I was scared for my eyesight 💀
This has me giggling so hard because same 😆

Thanks for sharing this story as it is relatable to me. So many children go through these things and never speak about it. Sex and human are a bad combo. They do so many things and hurt their kids and spouse.
Anyone going to mention that when talking about singing a Cher song Ricky started singing Elton John and Kiki Dee?
Mother should be ashamed of herself. Damn. 🤦🏼♀️🤮
“What if it was Traxx… with 2 X’s”…LOL
Not my Google setting a reminder 😂
Watching shows that set off my Alexa absolutely drives me crazy
Not to cast judgement but between her having the kid at 21 and HER parents not even confronting her about it, just cutting her off, I feel like the woman in the first story has a history of making bad and impulsive decisions without regard for pthers

Like Sean Bean
My son was born 4am on 9/12. It was very close lol. My wife held him in tho
Sorry guys I couldn’t hear you over the sound of my clamoring for the soundboard
Always love hearing the girlfriend of the pod, Aurora, being the live audience in the distance.
Rick is looking so beautiful in this episode. The nails with the sweater are so amazing on her
Irish person here Seán is just pronounced Shawn as well
The tommy stocking story is more about respect. Monica isnt respecting her. And Todd needs to put the mother of her child first.
I thought the exact same thing about the pregnancy story. Why on earth would you have told M in the first place? That seems like a conversation with a close friend, not someone you see infrequently in a group setting 🤔
My favorite episode
51:31 you set off my Alexa in the middle of the night

Theo name Jerson, with only obe "e", is Brazilian, although it's moto that common anymore. The only person I've ever Heard with this name was a soccer player from Theo 1970's
Max is 100% cheating on the guy’s mom

I'm a Brazilian millennial, never meet a Jeerson in my life. Jeferson yes, it's a pretty common name but not Jeerson 😅😂
Just imagine if the first story was the other way around 😮
That huge age gap is going to end up with them divorcing. That young man won't find her attractive when she gets in her 50's.
As a Paige… I’m sorry that we offended you as a whole 😂
1:06:00 that's Elton John, Ericka. Get it together. Put some respect on his name 😤

The woman sacrificed her entire life raising her son. The son needs to grow up and get over it.
This is the most annoying podcast. Tell the story. The stupid comments and constant interruptions or talking over the other person is irritating.
Then don't watch! Plenty of people like it, it's just not for you!
