When my siblings and I became adults, my Mom started buying us a bag of our favorite groceries instead of the little gifts that she would stick in stockings. It is seriously my favorite gift.
The story with Dave and the twins is very obvious to me in the lipgloss department. The pickme twin left her lipgloss behind so Dave would have to see her again. Dave didn't want to see the pickme, he's still interested in OP. THAT'S why he brought this lipgloss back and THAT'S why he told the sister. He still wants a shot with her.
for the google dock thing. I think if u learn something about someone u like so you decide to watch/read it to have something to start a conversation. thats fine. but its when u start to lie, pretend and stalk it becomes a problem, like it shoudnt be a whole ass plan xD my ex read a manga i liked(i read it in class so not hard to find out hehe), witch he later told me he read it to find a good conversation starter. and that feel way more normal than to just stalk and activly lie and decive people xD
I have sugar gliders so I was very excited to hear them be mentioned! You guys should look up sugar gliders crabbing, it's a wild noise. Their barks are also very cute! Great pod as always!
I was the child who got less gifts because the things I wanted or would have liked were more expensive. My brother literally would ask for things from the dollar store while I would be eyeing a new AAA game. It never bothered me. I don’t want his box of crap. Josh not everyone is on bad terms with an ex. I have one I am still extremely close to. They are on paper my ex, but we broke up mutually because we were both closeted and autistic in HS lolol.
omfg same with my first partner. we started """dating""" at 15....but we both realized we are autistic and werent actually in love but we were just bffs
I believe this is a hot take, but people who expect their partners to bring them or bring their partners to literally any and all get together without the consent of the other people involved are toxic and low-key codependent. The moment the poster mentioned that her boyfriend expected her to bring him along to every get together, I knew where the story was going.
The weird thing is if he had just said to her hey I noticed you using the google docs for chem, do you want to study together? She would probably say yes. There is no need to sabatoge her, she is already in need of help op could provide.
I know this is random but maybe you should look more into better help, I’ve heard a lot of negative stories about it , how unprofessional the people are and how often they make patients feel a lot worse, you should look more into it!
The fact that people use your comments, likes, and posts to project your ideals and morals in a signaficant other is sinister to me...like youre creating this mask in order to get my gaurd down and vulnerable to let you in then you cheat or ghost me once you got me?? Ick
Why would you go to an exes funeral or a wake.... They're an ex for a reason. That's so weird.. and what happens if their new partner is there and takes it as a snub to them that you're there? No.. thats weird.
I’m not a fan of the term pick me girl, hear me out though. When it’s used to mean a woman who basically alters herself to please a man in her life, including being a yesman to his conservative views, I call her a simp. When she’s already conservative, I call her a bigot. When she casually mentions most/all her close friends are guys, I just assume she shares a lot of similar interest in things often dominated by men OR she may have trouble navigating female friendships. On the surface that isn’t even a bad thing (and is more frustrating for the person you’re calling a pick me). Note: If they say girls are more drama, that’s when I’m like okay, you’re just sexist. I have mostly male friendships and guys were absolutely not drama free, and after puberty they’re way worse. I call those types of women sexist, because… they are! Lol. I also call women who won’t let their boyfriend have other female friends sexist, they’re being sexist. I think using pick me girl to mean “not like other girls” is just… harmful. I grew up undiagnosed autistic (at the time), genderfluid, and bisexual. I didn’t feel like I fit in with other girls… gee I wonder why! I was a “tomboy” as we called it in the 90s. Not an appropriate term now because it shouldn’t define what “type of girl” you are, but you get my point. As I am now a few decades older my autism makes female friendships a lot more difficult to navigate, generally. Obviously other queer and autistic women exist in my life and we have great friendships but these things are still the minority of the types of interactions I have with people day to day. It is OKAY to feel like you’re not like the group you’re boxed into, categorized as. When we focus on calling these women pick me’s instead of using the same term we use for guys in the same situations it becomes similar to how the word Karen is used now. The original meaning is lost, it’s just a way to blanket insult women. And I also find it particularly infuriating when other women say it… If you liked femininity or you were never forced into it growing up then you have no idea how it feels to have your family, teachers, friends forcing a gender/lifestyle/expression onto you. Once I gained independence I actually became significantly more feminine, in my OWN way! Child me would be shocked at my gamer girl desk setup lol. I love it because it’s so CUTE! And it’s the shade of pink I actually like! /end rant.

As a zoology major I thoroughly enjoyed this circle jerge
For a First Date™️ we went to see The Pacifier with Vin Diesel. There was no second date.
“Illiterate” as an accent killed me. 😂
The middle section was literally only off by 30 seconds. Very impressive

That story would've been an immediate break up and a possible slap
please bring back the intro shoulder shimmy. i still do it in spirit
That last noise sounded like the cinnamon buns screams from “The furious little cinnamon bun”
I have a George Foreman grill. It’s nice. It’s a nice electric grill. Sits outside like a Norma barbecue and easy to clean.
I broke my leg. Like this comment if I should watch every episode of the Judgies while I recover

Planet 51 was amazing and im jealous you saw it in theaters 🤣

Definitely not a hot take! It's toxic af and it sounded like he's trying to isolate the OP.
The funny thing about the pick me twin is that she’s a twin so there’s literally a built-in foil to show that her behavior is disgusting
I remember telling josh to look the hyena birth up on stream 😂 it’s horrifying!
Is the “noun number” movie Josh was thinking of Super 8?
Some of the boys girls can be a type of pickme if they're like... Obsessed with that dynamic and can't let any other women be friends with them.

As an Aussie I picked Koala so damn quickly.
District 9.. it was District 9 Josh
Wow great pull with not much to work with
Yess I love Community
23:04 how does she know it’s a ‘normal’ interaction and Dave didn’t ask around to see where she worked so he could run into more and then ask her out?
52:20 😂
Please have an Emo Joseph and Aurora only ep
Yeah, emo Joseph can crack jokes into the void until they're niche enough for Aurora's sense of humor 🤣
Face to face, eye to eye, eating nerds rope.
LMAO SERIOUSLY PLS
christian looks really good
Yooooo i just ripped the biggest shart ever.💀💀💀
every episode i am more and more amazed by the lengths to which men will go to justify their fucking weird-ass behavior. jesus christ lmao
btw, josh, was the movie you were trying to remember "district 9"?
nct moment

Hardest ending. The Erika eating a carrot thing. Beef stew. 🤌
