@@chelseaj2007 awww thank you! :D it doesn’t get many views so I can’t do it too often but I do love doing the podcast stories :) eventually I’ll probably spin it off into its own channel but I don’t have time to do that at the moment!
Nice! You are an excellent story teller. It's my favorite part of these videos. Of course the nerdy history stuff is appreciated as well. Having that much bad news that you can associate it with a regular occurrence seemed a bit odd but then you said they were calvanist and I was like "ah, that makes sense" haha. I always thought they were strange critters. Heavy on predetermination and superstition. To each their own I guess haha. Can't wait till the next one in October. And whatever you next video may be. Hope you and yours are doing well. Thanks for the content.
This does seem to be classic Georgian period, and your concern over proper accent was unnecessary, as you got the character bang on for women of that period. The bit where she confronts the deamon was, for me the best example of defiance to the terrible 'women best seen, not heard' mentality. Snuff the candle, if you will, but the light of God is within me, so I WILL be heard, thank you, and you will clear off, this instant! And, of course, I was chuffed to bits with the middle class wife getting a taste of the upper crust; oooh, servants, that's nice, aren't I supposed to whip them, sort of thing? wait a mo, what's all this then, smaller quarters? sod that! lol Seriously, this was brilliant, thanks again for another macabre, slightly madcap tale of our haunted history. cheers!
I’ve been hoping you’d do some more podcast stuff!! my favourite
