Trunks is a bad influence on Goten. Think I’m wrong?? Buu saga goten enters the hyperbolic time chamber serious and ready to train while trunks is just baffled. Fast forward after training it’s literally trunks’ idea to stall and try to be flashy.

You can honestly logically claim that as Trunk and Goten multiplied each others powers exponentially. Like two saiyans getting constant mini zenkai boosts back and forth on a daily basis. They probably go pretty hard.
I think the reason Goten and Trunks unlocked SSJ so easily compared to the Goku, Vegeta and Gohan, is because they were both born AFTER their fathers unlocked SSJ, so in their DNA, some SSJ gene must've passed on when they were both conceived. I don't think they ever explained this in the show but this is the only way it happening makes sense to me
i think vegeta got super saiyan after future trunks killed mecha frieza not sure if its the same for the manga though

You're just about right. Toriyama said there's something called S-Cells. And Goten and Trunks were born with particularly more S-Cells than their predecessors. That's the official explanation. So you basically guess correctly 😅
I mean Goten was conceived while goku was a mastered ssj so I get him being able to transform so easily

I always equated Goten & Trunks being able to access Super Saiyan so early due to them being conceived after Goku & Vegeta both respectively mutated/evolved to the level of a Super Saiyan so it reflected stronger in their DNA.
I think it shows in how they were born without tails unlike Gohan since they were born at a level where the tail wasn’t necessary for their evolution.
Idk if there’s an official explanation but that’s what works for me lol
There is official information on why and how Goten and Trunks could become Super Saiyan at such a young age and it's completely and utterly terrible.
I gotta assume their tails were cut shortly after they were born.

Honestly, it's better for Goten to stay on the Sideline for a while longer, he should be spending the rest of his Childhood being a good Kid and Son of not risking his Life into dangerous situations, he can't end up like his Brother Gohan where his entire Childhood was sacrificed who was forced to become a Fighter that saved the Earth twice.

You gotta realize that Jump wanted more DB. The series was supposed to end after Frieza and then again after cell when Gohan suppose to take over the show after Goku death! Jump didn’t want that hence Future Trunks Arc
than theres Naruto series lore be like: lets treat every side characters like garrbage n give naruto another kishimotos 1000th plot armours ,plot device kurama , aspulls from hagoromo, sage mode just by sleeping on a top rock, learns rasenshurikan just by playing in a water fall n getts death retcons and a child of prophecy n who doesnt train meanwhile our boi sasuke konohamaru gai kakashi gaara n lee even after training doesnt get a win even against a weak villain

What separates trunks and Goten from the others is that they have active moms that either encourage or don't discourage their training. they are actually the only two saiyans we see raised by their mothers. This could also explain why the Universe 6 saiyans transformed easily as well

Goten is one of the most underrated characters in Dragon Ball. I know he tends to get overshadowed by his father Goku and his brother Gohan, but I wish he had more to do. Goten's like his mom ChiChi. There's so much hidden potential that's just waiting to be unleashed. 😊 I love that first meeting between father and son too. ❤ Goku and Goten are such an adorable duo! 🥰 Same goes for Goten and Trunks. They'd give Goku and Krillin a run for their money in terms of being the best of friends in Dragon Ball. 😊

It's very common for second-born children not to be pushed as hard academically as first-borns are, and are therefore able to enjoy more carefree childhoods/school lives.

The reason he got super Saiyan easily is because according to the writer a Saiyan becomes super Saiyan because of s cells and the nicer you are the more s cells you have that's why Goku became super Saiyan before vegeta and since goten is part human it makes him nicer and loaded with s cells

I think the reason for Goten becoming a super saiyan at a young age is probably because Goku was in his super saiyan form when banging chichi during that week before the Cell games.

I have a theory on why Goten can become a saiyan at much younger age I think it might Goten was conceived when goku was super saiying which is the reason why goten is very powerful and might have more potential than trunks, since trunks trains with vegeta inside a gravity chamber while goten trains in martial arts with chi chi in the wilderness, when goku and trunks fought they were nearly evenly match so goten has more potential than trunks
Goten is still the youngest Super Saiyan in history.
To be fair Goten used super saiyan first, and goten used a ki blast to catch up to trunks, let’s not leave that out and make it seem like trunks could only beat him because he uses super saiyan, trunks was clearly stronger in base form
