TAL stuff was my first VSTs! Many many years ago I started with nothing. TAL plugins for free was what I cut my teeth on. Very grateful to the developer.
can you normalize the gain between your voice and the synth in these videos? i have to turn the volume super low so the synth sounds don't blast my ears, but then I have to use subtitles to understand what you're saying
Wow, sounds really, really good and I've owned a Roland System 100 (full system). I know its not modular but it has a similar sound, especially the filter. The System 100 filter sound is a bit dirtier (distortion) but almost the same, the OSC on the TAL 101 are REALLY fat, probably better than hardware I think. I also have the TAL J8 which is so beautiful, had my first deep programming session with that thus morning. Love TAL for shrinking the synths of my youth into my laptop, for a great value price, good polyphony and lush, lush sound!
I actually think it sounds better than the model 82. Dash Glitch did a vid on the model 82 & found some things about the wave shapes that made me look at the TAL wave shapes.. I think that the TAL is closer to the SH101.. so I brought this.
Dam it really is indistinguishable from the real thing..? and I've had 2 real 101's.. so very very close, also you should put links to the software so we can buy or check it out.
Digital Self I think he has his rack gear and patch bay down there so he’s either checking that things are connected properly or maybe a unit has gain level meters. Possibly he was looking to see if signal was clipping....just a guess as he shows his rack setups in other vids
extremely good plugin, but way way more complex than the 101. the immediacy of the simple interface the original 101 (and TAL-101) makes it so much fun to program.
Digital Self Complexity is relative. In the end, every software needs some quality time spent on growing into it 😀And it is not important what you use to get your kicks. It’s just a tool 👍

Would love to see a similar video of tal u no lx.
I love the TAL 101, been using it for a while now and it sounds great.

11:18 I like how the patch makes the mouse move on its own

Great tut. To the point. Doesn't have to be fancy. I'm sold
Gorgeous sounds, gorgeous playing, awesome demonstration.
Been my go to 101 plug for years

How does this plugin compare to your real SH101?
10:01 brilliant
Tal stuff is amazing, i have all their free stuff ! Even better than many paid plugins
How much is this one? I love the warmth of this plugin
@@GMBGFX1 53 € without taxes here in Europe 😉
Thank you for recovering my mind about that. Totally forgot this awesome beefy plugin. Sounds amazing.
Hey buddy, can you play any synth parts from "Chameleon"?
Dude this was amazing, thank you so much
Wow this one sound really good
Nicely done ... very good demo
I love your videos, but the microphone is too quiet in this one!

Thanks! Squarepusher test would be great? 🙂
What a great channel
Do the Tal U no lx next
nice one !
Would appreciate to cover actually all the features like Filter FM or MPE. 😕
The plants are grow good by music you play.
fake plants i think lol
is there a dog under the desk you keep checking on or something?

lol, no I was checking my recorder to make sure the levels weren't clipping cause some of these sounds get loud.
9:00 AFX for sure
I caught that time to pretend riff king
D16 Lush-101 enters the chat
I've got one of those. It kicks some serious patoot.

Quite hungry on resource but yeah lush is good also.
Playing like you don't have that tasty red 101.
LUSH 101?
tal bassline is way more accurate!
Dude.. Your company is Tal? Why didn't you disclose this sooner? Lol
by a company*
Definitely not mine, it's a German company. I wish I could make software like this lol.
Damn, I didn't know TAL was German. It seems, like for some reason, almost all vst and DAWS are coming from Germany...crazy
Enjoyed the video. Great info. As others have said please just mix your voice louder to even things out
NTC Arclight vst is better ;)
This was far too short... !!!
