Americas answer to Led Zeppelin and the Stones . Greatest American Rock Band …Period. This was over 30 years into their career… and they sound even better than the did in the 70’s incredible!!!
I grew up with 2 brothers. One was nine years older, the other was 12 years. I got rides to and from school in a '70 Duster Twister with Toys in the Attic blasting out of the boxed 6x9s on the rear deck, an 8 track under the dash. Aerosmith has been my favorite American rock band since 1975.
I've been rocking with Aerosmith since 1975 and still loving them true !! 1994 was a damned good year and Janie's still gotta a gun and that was the year that I was Drawing That Line ! Queen of the salt and Queen of the Brine, oh yes, I'm Janie the Queen of the Brine !! 💙💙💙 And yes I'm F.I.N.E. ! F'ed up, insecure, nuerotic, and EMOTIONAL !! ALWAYS LOVE for Steven, Joe, Tom, Brad and Joey ! But Steven has been such my icon that I named my youngest son after him !! Steven John Curtis in honor of Steven Tyler, my brother that passed in 1987, and his father. He was born in 1990 and in my heart he is honoring three great men in my life. Forever love for Aerosmith 💗♥️💙♥️💗
Because I had seen Aerosmith with Jackyl in Syracuse the week before (rescheduled from a snowed-out date in January 1994), I enjoyed this set from my tent about a half-mile from the stage. I regret not catching them doing essentially the same set because they killed, but I did kinda dig the idea of kicking back in hearing Aerosmith live in the privacy of my own dwelling.
I've seen Aerosmith 4 times and they have NEVER disappointed Steven Tyler is an absolute perfectionist. At the Key Arena I saw him restart an intro to a song, he said, "No, No, No, C'mon these people deserve better." and Perry rolled it back around to the top. Tyler also puts up with no BS from the crowd. At a show in Tacoma some A-hole in the audience was getting too rowdy and Tyler told him, "If you don't stop that Sh!t right now I'm going to come down there and F@ck you Girl Friend in front of you." and that is all he had to say. Every show has been fun and the music top notch. Aerosmith cares about the experience they give their fans and it shows.
I’ve seen them 5 times ’93 was the best, absolute killer, then ’97 which was the worst, not a good show at all, then again ’99 was very good, ’07 was alright, and finally ’15, not so good. ✌️
T.B., great story. Hey, maybe you can settle an argument. When you said "rolled it back around to the top", I say that means "start all over again". My friend here thinks it means that Joe played the song backward and then started over. Who's right? (Or maybe we're both wrong).
most old-timer Aerosmith fans probably remember the beer bottle incident in Philadelphia, I'm going to say approx 1979. All my friend went to that concert and I was home in bed with strep-throat; sick as a dog (no Aerosmith pun intended) and feeling so terribly sorry for myself that all my buds were at an Aerosmith concert. Than some j@ck@ss threw a beer bottle which shattered off the mic stand into Tyler's face. They left the stage and that was the end of the concert. And he vowed not to return to Philadelphia. Fortunately, some years later after their mid-80s comeback, I was able to see them in Philly. Tyler did say something to the effect of, "if we get another beer bottle incident, somebody is going to meet Mr Fist!"
1994 arguably pinnacle of their BEST. No American hard rock band ever better. Joe Perry is a quintessential rock star guitar hero, the all burn crash power chords
Wishing them all the best Retirement days may they last longer than they wish and find music in the places they call home no matter where on Earth that is. Sir Tyler of the engagement of the crowd, you are never repeated nor cloned you are ONE.....and in my ears right now to block out the Elections in USA and Canada both, you are my ballot to happiness in your MUSIC !!! #DeanboA.Harnish cares !!!
Saw them 13 days later at the cap center in landover, MD. America’s Greatest Rock ‘n Roll Band. So loud it rattles the fillings in your teeth. Their shows are just unreal.
I remember waiting for the band, lightning illuminating the clouds in the distance, wondering if we'd be struck by a bolt on these metal rod stands. I 've seen this band many many times, but that night they were on another level. I suggest you watch the whole performance of that night. Sweet emotion into a dazed and confused jam. I'm glad I took the chance on the stands that night. They were a little distant but were at a perfect viewing sight line.
This band was at their peak during this time. So many live shows and so much studio behind them. And they been riding that peak since then. Whoa..Meister.
Essa versão ficou foda demais ...... inacreditável que ano que vem já completa 30 anos desse show .... tive o prazer de assistir na TV ao vivo .... na época com 15 anos de idade .....
The best I saw them do draw the line was 86. I've seen them 17 times and for that song the first time was the best. The next afternoon when I got up the mpls star and Tribune said aerosmith back loud as ever no shit my ears rang for three days!
Smoked alot of pot listening to this great song also quite a bit of Quaaludes swallowed what a blast however i eventually got clean couldn't continue was to far gone 18 years clean thank you my Jesus my Lord and Savior still listening to the toxic twins and still loving it though
Checkmate Don't be late Take another pull That's right Impossible... ... when you got to be yourself Your the boss of the toss The dice... the price Write yourself a song... and... draw the line
Mr. D, are you referring to "Draw The Line" or "Pump" ? If you're talking about "Draw The Line", I would say that people are rating it fairly. "Draw The Line" and "Kings And Queens" are way above average. The rest of the album sucks.
@@mr.d.572, okay well maybe we can add "I Wanna Know Why" to the list of decent songs. The "Draw The Line" album contains four songs that have never appeared on any Live album. And aside from the "Draw The Line" tour in 1977-1978, those same 4 songs never again appeared on any setlist: The Hand That Feeds Sight For Sore Eyes Get It Up Critical Mass I think Aerosmith's most under-rated album is "Done With Mirrors". It contains the songs "She's On Fire" and "The Reason A Dog". "She's On Fire", in my opinion, ranks among Aerosmith's top 5 songs. But nobody ever talks about that song.
The critics pretend that only the Sex Pistols and other London boys ( Thunders: " little London boys" ) were hitting it this shatteringly hard in 1977; apparently the critics never heard this song, never wanted to hear it, nor feel it, and still don't. Awwwwwww isn't that TOO fucking bad. Aw. Yet now all the bootlegs posted on RUclips show what this band did, night after night, from the Rocks, then Draw The Line tours, 76-78. And how many bands ever have played a song like this, going this hard 20 years later?!

joe perry jamming so hard in his own bubble facing stage left not even caring for the audience makes me laugh every time ( at 7:05 ) knowing that he was so high on powder that day !

They are one the best at transitioning from one song to the next

I watched a lot of bands at Woodstock 94 and they were all good, but some shined brighter and Aerosmith was one of those epic performances.
I was there and agree buds.
Totally agree ! Metallica was amazing as well!!
I've always loved a good intro in a song like this , a different take that leads to the climax of the song !!!!
