Back in the 80’s I played in metal bands in the club circuit back then. At one point my band buddied up with this other band who had a little more of a classic to heavy rock repertoire, and we became like mutual fans. We would get bookings and trade off opening for each other. Anyway - I say AAALLLL THAT O N L Y TO SAY that they use do do this song. Somehow I’d never heard it before and I considered myself a pretty serious Aerosmith fan. This was one of their favorites and their fan favorites. It just never ages.

Greatest american band hands down. Best front man, twin guitarist joe perry is still a beast. Brad Witford so underated would play lead in most bands. Joey Krammer and Tom Hamilton the heart that keeps it going. What else can you say. I hope they keep the train a rolling. Bad boys of boston keep rocking
One of the greatest front men of all time. One of the greatest bands of all time.First rock album I ever bought was toys in the attic the year it came out.I was in seventh grade.these guys were/are part of the soundtrack of my life.
So many Great Songs from the AEROSMITH BAND ! ! ! This one has a Solid Place above all the Rest , I believe . God Bless . Steve in Centreville , Virginia .
First time I saw them was 76 I think at Comiskey park. The roof started on fire after Jeff Beck played and thought they’d cancel the rest of show, but CFD got there and Bill Veck helped put out fire. Aerosmith was fantastic!!!!
Rocks is Joe Perry"s personal favorite album of the bands repertoire. But Toys in the Attic was the recording that really took them to the next level after the debut Aerosmith and Get Your Wings. The record label almost dropped them after those first two records didn't really sell that well but after countless tours of grinding it out live at gig after gig and literally paying their dues after Toys in the Attic was so well received by the fans and the radio gave it a lot of airplay . and the first 2 records started selling better and finally they were secure in their recording contract and could relax and keep doing their thing in front of the fans. Definitely it was a hard fought upward climb for these hard partying bad boys from Boston. In my opinion they are one of the best bands in the world.
Actually, Get Your Wings, especially, 'Same Old Song and Dance', put them on the charts. While recording 'Toys..', Tom Hamilton said they could finally feel confident enough to be much better.

Whitford deserves much more credit for his guitar...BIG TIME !
I couldn’t agree more.
he's truly a gem of a guitarist. having two guitarists that good in one band. and bradley - just did his job. always.
Hamilton too he's a killer bass player.
He didn't like the spotlight.

I dunno but these FUCKIN GUYS are EPIC!!!! The BEST American rockin roll band that still goin!!!
I don't understand why people insist to compare Steven Tyler and Mick Jagger. They are both talented and amazing. Let it go!
Mick was the template and the inspiration

I agree!
Steve Tyler is the best live vocalist I’ve ever seen
Prime Paul McCartney is the best I’ve seen.
You obviously haven't seen Led Zeppelin.
I've seen Aerosmith and Robert Plant (though not in the 70s) and Jay Buchanan is better than both.
You need to get out more.
This is by far my favorite song of their amazing catalog

Agree with you more I was 13 and saw every show till 1980. They're still here
Actually, Get Your Wings, especially, 'Same Old Song and Dance', put them on the charts. While recording 'Toys..', Tom Hamilton said they could finally feel confident enough to be much better.
Bon Scott said it best, Its along way to the top.... most bands paid their dues. It wasn"t just given to them.
Thank you Aerosmith for doing the legwork in the early years so that I might still enjoy the fruits of your musical labor great fucking music

In '75 i saw Aerosmith in Seattle on their Toys In The Attic tour.
Ted Nugent opened for them. My favorite concert ever !
My band used to do this song. I did the same thing Perry did. I had a guitar strapped on my back for the lead. People loved it when I did this.
The Bad Boys from Boston bringing it to you live and in your face. If you're not pumped up by this, you have a problem.
Great sound capture, almost studio quality! 🔊🎶👍
Agree...I was surprised. I always steered away from the live version for fear I would be disappointed.
I was taking guitar lessons, Aerosmith Was a big influence.. Creative Rock/BluesRock.Those years some of the bands of the 70s had their best albums.
