I hope that, when this issue gets resolved, you'll continue this series because the story is so good.
I think it would be interesting to roleplay a new charcater with a different class, but at the same time I understand the frustration of losing your progress. Sorry this happened to you!
I think there was a map update, but I'm not 100% sure. That is crazy though.

Oh no! That's unfortunate! I'd love to see you grind back, maybe as a paladin or fighter, but I understand if you wouldn't want to. I'd love to see another frequent series though! Maybe Star dew valley, BG3, or Slimerancher? I love checking every few days and having a new, bite-sized video to watch! Keep up the great content, no matter what you do!

That is so sad, to have lost all of that hard work you put in. I kind of know how that feels. I remember my very first survival world (I normally play on creative) I spawned in near a pillager tower. I was inspired to raid it by digging under it and coming up and blocking the doors so they couldn't get in. I had pillaged the pillagers, and then my computer crashed and when I managed to load the game again the world was corrupted and I lost everything. It's nowhere near what happened to you, but it gives me an idea of what you feel like. 😢😢😢😢
I understand if you won't, I think that starting over to get where you were to be able to finish the map because they story is Soo good.

You don’t have much of a choice with no starting stats. Have to start over if you want to play.
