Here's a tip from a pro player: open your map and disable any marker that's not actively useful on your compass. Like bruh the top of that screen looks like a landfill. Who needs to find their way to so many train stations anyway, just follow the tracks??
One that wasn't mentioned-- jetpack fuel types affect not only climb speed / distance, but also duration. So if you use a Hypertube launcher and want fuel to navigate around the map long as possible, you definitely want biofuel (or even normal fuel) over Turbofuel, which burns much faster.
Tip: have not just containers for *incoming* products at your mall, but also for outgoing stuff. It's quick and easy to just grab stuff from other containers and throw it in there then. I like to hook that up to a special train that then will deliver it to my intended destination. All I need to do is set up the train station for it to get the building materials for my new factory there then. Another such container can be used to dump biomass, slugs etc into to send them to automatic sorting and processing.
@@M4nichean Sure! I assume that's the case for everything that ends up in a storage container of a mall. It's taken out of the production lines already anyway and meant to be picked up by the player.
Thanks for the tips!!! #1 especially will help so much in the early game #15, the floor hole - belt - floor hole tip.... I hope thats not a bug, that is so cool Saw it in your let's play as well.... I am guessing that current bug where the belt lift teleports to wherever you look when cycling to a mk2 lift will be gone with the full release... hopefully this is working as intended and stays :)
for me in 1.0, the multitude of higher level beasts are the problem. where i used to encounter (in update 8) only normal hogs and maybe one single strong hog, i found that half the hogs were strong now and one was even a "stone thrower". quite difficult to handle in the beginning with only a zapper or at most a basher. but it helps when you don't only hit them a few times with single strokes. use double strokes (doubleclick or two quick clicks) to do more damage, like swinging back and forth instead of only once. afaik, you did normal damage for the first hit and double damage for the second, thus triple damage for both together, and in a shorter time too than two single strokes. but you shouldn't turn them to "completely peaceful", so that you still can kill them if you want or need, for their remains which can be turned into biofuel or into DNA for the sink (a second separate counter), or for research in the MAM.
You don't have to press TAB to keep gathering plants. You can just hold E from the start, provided you initially press it while looking at a gatherable plant.
Uh I will definitely have several "bus" stations where that flying flounder picks and drops me off .... I will build alongside its flight path and have panoramic views of my builds as I traverse from factory to factory !
i found that out by accident, LOL :-) after i built a ramp across a waterfall, i went afk and came back 10 minutes later to being dead on the ground. that's how i found out that the stingray flew through that ramp and picked me up while i was away, and 5 minutes later (after a full roundtrip) dropped me off at the underside of that ramp while he passed through it.
I like my rifle too much to spam workbenches everywhere 😂 I'll just go on safari from my sky bridge 😜 Next playthrough I'm speed running chainsaw, blade runners, parachute and rifle.
In U8, my favorite weapon was a rebar gun with explosive bolts :-) Once i killed one bigger and three tiny spitters with a single shot :-) LOL And as a side effect, i could use it on rocks and didn't have to carry extra stacks of nobelisks and block a hand slot for the detonator.
You need a tip to defeat the basic enemy with the tier 2 weapon? Just jump over them when they charge. It's way faster, doesn't require building and recycling.
05:10 simply use conveurbelt stacking pillers (im not sure if this is called like that im german 😂) if you build it like that you dont have to build walls
#19 is useless with Dimentional Depo. Just get at least one depo for all construction materials. In higher depo level you forgot about building cost at all.
all you have to do is hold E to collect all the foliage not do that weird inventory thing just press and hold E for the first thing you pick up and it will do the rest
probably would of left the exploits to the end of the video, plus if you are not gonna play the combat properly just turn it off ? also you dont need to bother with foundations if you want to build a ladder to go up a cliff ?
Is this a parody video? Tip 1 and Tip 2 - don't play the game how it's meant to be played, Tip 3 - All that effort instead of just holding E, Tip 4 - thanks, you saved me about 5 seconds that I could otherwise be using to look at the map, inventory, or put down a marker, Tip 5 - worried about a tree 5 metres from your rail, whilst you have a rock clipping through 20 metres away in the background.... I can't keep going - tapping out before Tip 6.

you can use ladders without placing the foundations.
You can even extend the ladder while climbing it
Yes, I usually make about a 3-long foundation at the top of whatever cliff I'm climbing, and build a ladder down from it.
Sure, but ladders work just fine without using foundations.@@Ainglish-qj5bb

Tip #15, about building conveyer belt elevators from floor hole - to - floor hole is gonna be soooooooooo helpful! Thanks for the video!
You don't even need 2 conveyor holes, one is enough. You just need to stretch the lift TO the hole, not from it.

This is indeed correct, I do prefer biofuel over turbofuel
@@The_Warbreaker Yeah, I keep turbo fuel for when I need to fly up a big cliff or something. But for navigation, bio is about 10x longer-lasting. :)

If you are going to cheese combat, Then just turn it off in advanced game settings. No need for tip one or two.
Yeah, I was going to comment this too. lol.
The charging enemies are easy and fun to deal with anyway, it's the spitters that are the problem.

This is missing the tip for using N to open quick search and using it as a calculator by entering equations for it to solve, rather than search terms.
Didn't think of saying that actually, just became second nature in my playthrough, it would of been a good mention.

Packaged bioful is bettr than turbofuel for jetpack
Yes, liquid biofuel is the 4th and best fuel for the backpack. At least in the current game. Maybe 1.0 adds even more?
Specifically, for flying longer distances, packaged biofuel is better, but if you want more height with a short distance, then turbofuel is better.
