King of Makyan's Goku fought Frieza with a power level of 3,000,000. The SSJ Multiplier is 50x. He would have been weaker than Frieza as a Super Saiyan if he was 2,000,000 at base.

Bardock ' Powers level aren't garbage when your opponent is at least millions of times stronger than you. Hell, the gap between Bardock and Dodoria wasn't as large and Bardock still got destroyed.
