She truly was a beautiful woman on the outside but also a truly lovely lady on the inside too. She was so friendly to me as I played Jacques in the film and only have wonderful memories of her. I was devastated when I heard the tragic news just three years after the film was completed.

There is debate as to whether that was Sharon's voice or a dubbed voice. I know that she was taking voice lessons during the making of the movie so I have always hoped it was her wonderful voice. She was quite good with accents, and sported both a British and American accent, socially. Anyway, the sound track sounds overlaid, but I do hope it was her voice. Would like to know for certain. Can you confirm please?

@@duncanponikwer5445 You're very fortunate to have worked with her. She was an absolute sweetheart and I think she would have really shined in the 1970s because in my opinion, she epitomized everything that was good and positive about the 1960s. Margot did a very good job portraying her.

Tate pulls off the occult character very well. Very underrated actress. In an interview she related two paranormal events in her life, so I think she had some "connection" with the Spirit World, and you can see some of that "connection" in her performance in this film. There is an otherworldly aspect to her portrayal of this character.

@70sNEON -- And (in answer to Polanski's "bad vibe")... people do that after the fact. They start telling the story about where they were and all that shit, then during one of the re-tellings they'll make an off-hand remark about the fact that they weren't feeling well that day... later on down the line someone will ask them if they sensed anything when the murder was taking place and they'll remember they said... something... about a bad feeling... and as it goes on and on eventually they firmly believe they had an actual premonition. People think that their memory is a permanent thing, like a video recorder, but nothing could be further from the truth. Every single time you recount a memory, your brain erases it and replaces it with you "remembering" it. That's why memory is so very subjective and so easily manipulated into false memories. There is a scientific group that studies memory in New York. Every time a major event happens (president gets assassinated, huge natural disaster, terrorists fly planes into a couple of buildings... you know... the classics), they will immediately gather up test subjects and have them recount everything they were doing before, during and immediately after the event. After they recount it, they have them write it down in their own hand-writing (this becomes important later on). Then, at regular intervals, (six months, one year, five years, ten years

Wonderful movie. I enjoyed it immensely. I loved the fact that they didn't change any of the scenes from "The Wrecking Crew"; Tarantino used the original footage shot with Sharon Tate and didn't try any trickery to insert Margot Robbie into the scenes, allowing us to see how beautiful and talented she really was. The scene where she bumbles into "Matt Helm" (Dean Martin) was funny and very charming. Imagine all the extraordinary scenes the world was robbed of, never to be filmed... all that beauty and grace... gone. And for what? Petty revenge by the world's biggest, chicken-shit asshole, who didn't even have the courage to attend either of the murders he ordered.
