There is always something seductive about the bad boy... but to settle down... yeah Cang Xuan is indeed the best choice. If not for the fact that Tu Shanjing the yes man (who would be a slave for his girl) is a bit of a weakling and having to deal with his hell of a family, he is actually not bad too to settle down with.
Xiang liu said to Xiao Yao : there are many good men, but only few of them will stay true to you then Xiao yao asked Xiang Liu; who should I marry? you can feel Xiao yao was waiting for him to answer and yet Xiang Liu chose not to reveal his true feelings for her. What a heartbreaking conversation. You can see the love and pain at Xiang Liu's eyes😢💔💔💔🥲 In the end for Xiao Yao - Xiang Liu is just a passerby in her life but for Xiang Liu he is glad he met her along the way. I'm already watching episode 6 and I really feel heartbroken, I kept crying, Xiang Liu and Xiao Yao will never be together. All the characters played each role very well especially Tan Jian Ci.❤

Yes, I think she loves Xiang Liu more than Tushan Jing but Xiang Liu never says anything to her that he loves her, that’s why she chose Tushan Jing because he said those words to her. @@cheerchannel565 in my eyes Xl let jing have her. jing wasnt her first choice it was xl and because xl didnt chose her. She chose jing because thats the only other person that she knew liked her and they somewhat had a connection. this would of all been over if xl said he loved her and they would of ran off together. thats why she keeps saying do you regret making that promise He keeps asking her who does she truly love. they both are each others thorn, which to me makes it even more interesting. They are the same. both really stubborn. both have hard heads and soft hearts.
Tan Jianci is breaking my heart over and over. No matter if he is Fangfeng Bei or Xiang Liu (nine headed demon) he breaks my heart every time. People who have read the novel say the story is about him and the female lead even more than the others. I can surely believe it. It seems so tragic for him to love her so very much while she goes back and forth in her feelings between him and Tushan Jing. His pain is so intense and for someone who tries not to show anything it is all there in his eyes. I have empathy for both guys but for some reason the demon just slays me. Tan Jianci is incredibly capable in this role by his expressions. The writers have done an excellent job. I have heard his sufferings are even more numerous in the novel. Seems they are already enough in this drama. I wish they had an English audio book of the novel since I would love to hear it read. The time she told him she didn't want him to come into her dreams hurt him so much and he has never forgotten it. He also knows of her feelings for Tushan Jing. All things designed to make him suffer.
There is one fact that is under the radar. Your understanding in Xiang Liu and Xiao Yao’s relationship is quite good. The fact is the poisonous bugs is the “love”bugs. They are fed and survived with love the hosts have for each other.

I know he loves her and I feel she loves him also so it would work and that was why he knew he would be a good candidate for the bug. Did you read the novel or see comments about this? I wish I had known earlier since I spent so much time going back to the old man that told him it would take his heart and he only has one. Though I realized he loved her deeply I just didn't get details enough to make me understand fully. You have made my day and I am so grateful.
@@sarabethleewilliams5610 My pleasure. I read a novel. I looked it up for you and there is no English version. The author “Tong Hua” is also a script writer for the series, too. It’s close to the original novel. Tan Jianci is an exceptional actor. He perfectly brings Xiang Liu to life. There is a back story on Xiao Yao’s parents(you probably saw her biological dad(the general) in this ep.) Her parents chose the path of loving each other and ended up in tragedy. Xiang Liu foresees it. That why Xiang Liu protects Xiao Yao by refusing to let her know that his heart is also belonging to her. (Same heart beats and he also said he felt whatever she felt in S1) I hope this explains the story up to this point. I don’t want to give any spoilers. The series is cut short in S2 so far so good. It might lack of some details. I feel so sad when Xiang Liu was misunderstood.

Tushan jing just gave up on her and couldn't even go against his grandmother even when she was dying xiang liu was the one who came forward and saved her risking his own life

I can understand Xiaoyao's feelings. She's in love with Jing and has feelings for Xiang Liu/Fangfeng Bei. She's the fiancee of someone she doesn't love or has feelings for. What is she supposed to do? When she asked Xiang Liu who should she marry, you could tell she was hoping she say to him. Looking at him he wanted to say to him, but... In Xiang Liu/Fangfeng Bei's way, he has to play it off nonchalantly and not give a straight honest answer. When talking to Cang Xuan, you can see how conflicted she is. She doesn't know what to do or where to turn.
I think Xiang Liu knows that Xiao Yao is in the state of confusion about Tushan Jing. I feel like he's doubting Xiao Yao. It shows that Xiao Yao is hurt of Tushan Jing that is why is asking " who should I marry?". I mean you can't ask that kind of a question if your mind is stable.

Lost you forever is an amazing drama . All the cast did so well , they played their roles so good that one could feel what they’re going through . Nice storyline, talented cast with a soothing ost , this drama is a masterpiece!
I wish tushanjing and xiaoyao will be together . He is in her mind and heart all the time! Hope they will have a happy ending! Heartbroken when I see jing is so sad
I, myself, wait all day, hungry for more pain and suffering (like a hole in my head ) and towards the end of my wait, I melt to the floor and fall asleep due weakness from waiting all day. Then in the middle of the night I wake up to find I have missed the episode drop and dragged my sleepy body to go watch it. When morning comes, I show up to work late like I had a hangover.

I do respect your choice. TJ is a good man. He is sincere and love XY plus he can be a good provider. However, to answer your question, I would love to spend my lifetime with a man likes Xiang Liu too. His love for Xiao Yao is an unconditional love. He sacrificed everything even his (several)lives for her. There are back story of Xiao Yao’s parents. Xiang Liu understands and nothing he would want more than Xiao Yao’s happiness. So yes if anyone could love me likes that I would keep his love very close to my chest forever.

I never let movie to break my heart, but these two..The one she truly want to be with was always XiangLiu. I love when other ml both emfacised she loves snow so much, but she hadn’t sawit in childhood.. All this sofisticated hints about their love are the best part! One of my favorite was when she said she only one who could cook poisonous cakes for him and he said he is only one in the world who was able to estimate her cooking. Like husband end wife talking. So much in it! She estimate others by what they do, but she just love him for who he is. She was so pissed when Jing friend said Fangfeng was worse. Jind endeed very carfull end loving toward her, but he never understood her so deeply, she coulnd be truly herself with him. She asked Ching Liu few times to be with her, but she told herself that her husband couldn't be hers brothers enemy. They both knew they love each other and they couldn't be together, but he still asked her for a meal, dear.. they flow to each other, their connection was so strong. They confessed so many times, my heart is bleeding. She shoudnt ask him to give up his beliefs. 😭Itʼs a pain if she really didn’t understood that the reason he said he wouldn’t change his life was because he met her. 💔
Also, I felt so bad for Xiang Liu, you have people telling him why he and Xiaoyao can't be together. The man has been hiding his feelings for her since season 1. The more time he spends with Xiaoyao he tries to keep his feelings for her hidden. Now people are coming up giving him reasons why he should give up and why they can't be together. Also, like the last episode, my heart is broken for Jing. I know he's still in love with Xiaoyao, but he needs to step his game up. He's only hurting himself watching her with Xiang Liu. I love his character and I hope he does better this season. It's hard watching him cry and alone. While the one he loves is getting closer to his love rival.

@kh-c8453 Jing's fiancee was having an affair with his brother. She and his brother plotted and tried to kill Jing. They used their baby to force Jing to marry her. His fiancee knew Jing wanted to break his engagement with her and marry Xiaoyao. So she used the baby she had with his brother as a tool to get what she wanted by saying the baby was Jing's.
Am I the only one who thinks there should be a sequel for this drama where the cycle of an enemy general and a princess fall inlove and end up dead or one dying is broken…We would be able enjoy the 🔥 chemistry + explore XL’s shapeshifting powers! Xiaoyao is constantly urging Xiang liu/ FFB to stop.. she can't marry a man who is inevitably going to kill her brother and is her clan's enemy. No sane person would do that. Xiangliu has no personal enmity with her clan. He's just paying his debt to his saviour, and he also knows there's no way he could win no matter how strong he is.. Xiangliu needs to understand that both xiao yao and her brother have nothing to do with what happened to his adopted father.
Yes. Actually, there were two sane people who did just that in the past and Xiang Liu knows the consequences and tries to protect himself and Xiao Yao from ending up together. They silently have love for each other. All the clues are there all along.

General Chi Yun was a wide beast-turned-man who wants to dominate and unite all living things under one ruler. He then fell in love with princess Muqing Mo. However, the princess was betrothed by her family to Prince Haoling. Princess’s heart belongs to Chi Yun. The two made a promise to meet annually under the peach blossoms of No Return Valley(Spoiler we possible see this in later ep), where Chi Yun made Muqing Mo a promise of love, that he will give up everything, and stay by her side for the rest of their lives. But, her father wants to rule over Chi-Yun’s Kingdom. So, the princess got in the crossfire and ended up in tragedy. Sounds familiar? That why XL doesn’t want to see XY pick him and end up to be like her mother. I read a novel of “Lost You Forever”, and won’t say anything more. The series is adapted so, some details could be changed. We shall see.

I have settled for the fact that i am the only one who ships XY & CX. It's a love built on many years. CX, in his own twisted way, cared for XY...he just can't have her. The storyline is just amazing. Each suitor has reasons why he is the best for XY🤦♀️

I love how Xiangliu is always there for xiaoyao when she is feeling down and lonely. Xiangliu can't promise to be her SO but he always try to fulfill her needs as a companion, exactly what xiaoyao is looking for 🥲

She chose jing because thats the only other person that she knew liked her and they somewhat had a connection. this would of all been over if xl said he loved her and they would of ran off together.

Omg! Tan Jianci acting is breathtaking
Tan Jianci is breaking my heart over and over. No matter if he is Fangfeng Bei or Xiang Liu (nine headed demon) he breaks my heart every time. People who have read the novel say the story is about him and the female lead even more than the others. I can surely believe it. It seems so tragic for him to love her so very much while she goes back and forth in her feelings between him and Tushan Jing. His pain is so intense and for someone who tries not to show anything it is all there in his eyes. I have empathy for both guys but for some reason the demon just slays me. Tan Jianci is incredibly capable in this role by his expressions. The writers have done an excellent job. I have heard his sufferings are even more numerous in the novel. Seems they are already enough in this drama. I wish they had an English audio book of the novel since I would love to hear it read. The time she told him she didn't want him to come into her dreams hurt him so much and he has never forgotten it. He also knows of her feelings for Tushan Jing. All things designed to make him suffer.
There is one fact that is under the radar. Your understanding in Xiang Liu and Xiao Yao’s relationship is quite good. The fact is the poisonous bugs is the “love”bugs. They are fed and survived with love the hosts have for each other.
Also he knows he can't marry her so he wants to find her a husband who will cherish and put her first before anything or anyone else

I know he loves her and I feel she loves him also so it would work and that was why he knew he would be a good candidate for the bug. Did you read the novel or see comments about this? I wish I had known earlier since I spent so much time going back to the old man that told him it would take his heart and he only has one. It’s close to the original novel. Tan Jianci is an exceptional actor. He perfectly brings Xiang Liu to life. There is a back story on Xiao Yao’s parents(you probably saw her biological dad(the general) in this ep.) Her parents chose the path of loving each other and ended up in tragedy. Xiang Liu foresees it. That why Xiang Liu protects Xiao Yao by refusing to let her know that his heart is also belonging to her. (Same heart beats and he also said he felt whatever she felt in S1) I hope this explains the story up to this point. I don’t want to give any spoilers. The series is cut short in S2 so far so good. It might lack of some details. I feel so sad when Xiang Liu was misunderstood.

I can understand Xiaoyao's feelings. She's in love with Jing and has feelings for Xiang Liu/Fangfeng Bei. She's the fiancee of someone she doesn't love or has feelings for. What is she supposed to do? When she asked Xiang Liu who should she marry, you could tell she was hoping she say to him. Looking at him he wanted to say to him, but... In Xiang Liu/Fangfeng Bei's way, he has to play it off nonchalantly and not give a straight honest answer. When talking to Cang Xuan, you can see how conflicted she is. She doesn't know what to do or where to turn.
I think Xiang Liu knows that Xiao Yao is in the state of confusion about Tushan Jing. I feel like he's doubting Xiao Yao. It shows that Xiao Yao is hurt of Tushan Jing that is why is asking " who should I marry?". I mean you can't ask that kind of a question if your mind is stable.

I do respect your choice. TJ is a good man. He is sincere and love XY plus he can be a good provider. However, to answer your question, I would love to spend my lifetime with a man likes Xiang Liu too. His love for Xiao Yao is an unconditional love. He sacrificed everything even his (several)lives for her. There are back story of Xiao Yao’s parents. Xiang Liu understands and nothing he would want more than Xiao Yao’s happiness. So yes if anyone could love me likes that I would keep his love very close to my chest forever.

Also, like the last episode, my heart is broken for Jing. I know he's still in love with Xiaoyao, but he needs to step his game up. He's only hurting himself watching her with Xiang Liu. I love his character and I hope he does better this season. It's hard watching him cry and alone. While the one he loves is getting closer to his love rival.

His fiancee knew Jing wanted to break his engagement with her and marry Xiaoyao. So she used the baby she had with his brother as a tool to get what she wanted by saying the baby was Jing's.

Xiangliu needs to understand that both xiao yao and her brother have nothing to do with what happened to his adopted father.

However, the princess was betrothed by her family to Prince Haoling. Princess’s heart belongs to Chi Yun. The two made a promise to meet annually under the peach blossoms of No Return Valley(Spoiler we possible see this in later ep), where Chi Yun made Muqing Mo a promise of love, that he will give up everything, and stay by her side for the rest of their lives. But, her father wants to rule over Chi-Yun’s Kingdom. So, the princess got in the crossfire and ended up in tragedy. Sounds familiar? That why XL doesn’t want to see XY pick him and end up to be like her mother. I read a novel of “Lost You Forever”, and won’t say anything more. The series is adapted so, some details could be changed. We shall see.
