She's not paralytically smart, over and over again she falls for the traps, It's even becoming annoying till the point I started skipping big parts of the scenes just to get to the ending.
This actress is criminally underrated she is absolutely stunning. I loved her with Dylan Wang in Miss the Dragon. The Cute programmer showcased her to me originally but she is so underrated but she has serious competition within the Chinese actresses pool. Zhao Lu Si and Bai Lu, Yang Zi and Tang Song Yan are miles above her in popularity and acting credits. Under the right script and male lead she could become A+ like the other four I mentioned. This is brilliant so far. However all these Chinese drama's really need a continuity director they're a member of the film crew who oversees the continuity of the drama including wardrobe, props, set dressing, hair, makeup and the actions of the actors during a scene. She has literally just had water chucked all over her yet by the time she is frog marching the bitch home she is wonderfully dry not a hair out of place make up in tact and it may be nit picking but come on.
.I like Zhao Lusi, she has talent, she is made to be an actress, but I agree with you, this actress also deserves to be very well known, she does a very good job and I admire her character and her self-confidence, she has already shown us her talent ❤.

Her Acting skills might have been lost with not many Good Scripts and Good ML like Zhang Han. It is China. they have their own ways and own Cultures; we can only admire whatever roles they are Given,,, In term of Photogenic and Looks and Height and Fitness she is more advanced than other Four Zhao, Bai, Yang and Tan Song Yun *7 Tan I am at 20+ Epic and she has been excel in this drama so far; don't have time to watch more but I could move up to 40 End Epic... Zhu Xudan is my favourite villain. She is breathtaking as an actress. Not many young and beautiful actress nowadays dare to play villain. Ofcouse she is a heroine in this one and an impeccable one at that. She is a beauty, but when she is onscreen you can really enjoy what real acting is like.
Most of the actresses named above really can ot act. Zhou lusi is ugly, Bailu is very nasal, but I like her. But they all pale up against Zhu Xudan...just my opinion. She reminds me of Bette Davis takes a role and turn it into gold. ❤

Excellent drama. actors are very believable and the history and costumes are accurate. my appreciations to the directors. They have to comply with the government and apparently they do. the series is rate G in my opinion. As an American these historical dramas i understand more of Chinese history and culture. in our studies we do not have much of teaching of Chinese history and the culture. the chinese culture far exceeds the European culture and history in my opinion.
Zhu xu Dan is a versatile actress cam be a villain nor female lead I watched miss the dragon and cute programmer her acting is good.. The 2nd.prince here is gen Mu lian in the rebel princess but here he's.a villain😅
I'm on episode 31 and I'm getting a bit tired of everyone hating this Prince. The little street urchin she picked up and helped (along with all the other kids with her) is turning into trouble and the "mother" he so readily accepted after 20 years missing is ridiculous. This show could have been ended in 24 episodes if they didn't drag out every situation into multi-episodes. Otherwise, it's good.
