It is understandable that she felt at times that she would fare better with the devil. But she came to her God-senses and rose above all the cruelty and degradation to become a fiercely talented artist and phenomenally beautiful human being. As I said, that great lady is a survivor and continue to give God a delicious lap dance while singing "Santa Baby" with her elegantly angelic voice. She even makes God blush! RIP Eartha Kitt. She needs to be in history books and taught in schools. All the shit she went through in her life but had come so far in her career and life. I actually learned of eartha kitt through rupauls derag race lol. I actually learn a lot about important figures in the past from that show lol. She stood up for what she believed to be right, she stood up and talked about how war was wrong (and still is), she survived and thrived after so much abuse and torture, she had a wonderful career and an amazing daughter. Shes an amazing woman.
