Too bad it's gonna be a deluxe, I think a Voyager would be better since I'd have a bigger budget for engineering. But I'm still happy this soundwave design is getting a solid figure since it's really good and maybe my fav design of him
When this character made his debut in the second season trailer i got amazed of his great entrance and when he showed up with that badass desing it was very cool!
i know people are not a big fan of these Earthspark toys but these are really fun and playable People not every transformers figure has to be like Studio series legacy or masterpiece level it's still a Children's toy in the end
That's the exact reason I wanted this figure; he's basically Animated Battletrap in all but name, and he's got the proper bulk that the SS figure is severely lacking
Earthspark had such a big potential of becoming one of the best Transformers cartoons, but instead of giving it a second chance, Hasbro totally gave up on it, studios have been switched and ratings became even more negative! Such BULLSHIT happens with Hollywood these days! They ruined all of our favorite franchises!
Earthspark had potential, some good takes and episodes (tarantulus one stood out for me) but I think for the most it didn't get the balance between transformers and human characters right until too late into the series. Suspect with transformers one that it was probably always planned to be a bit of a place holder too.
I concur that the second season (so far?) is kind of a step back in writing, but Aftermath inexplicably is a gigantic standout! Flea's performance really helps. I really hope future TF shows find ways to adapt this show's Terrans, because it would be a shame to see these great designs and characterizations forgotten.
i always love when the robot designs are made with big, striking shapes and alot of consideration goes into the silhouette in both robot and vehicle mode. It gives it so much more life and visual appeal
I definitely need to get both Aftermath and Jawbreaker sometime soon. They both have killer designs, and have some really nice interactions together in S2!
Honestly, between aftermath and spitfire, aftermath has a way better design since spitfire is just a repaint of twitch, while aftermath has a completely new mold and I'm honestly disappointed that starscream killed them both, cuz I would have loved to see more of them. BTW it's been a while we have seen a reverse transformation on this channel.
I just realized that this guy's design reminds me of Energon Demolishor. Big truck man with a mohawk and gorilla proportions? Sounds like Demolishor to me.
I really wanted to have a figure of this series' Tarantulas. it's literally Prime Airachnid with Tarantulas' deco. That's pretty cool. It's a shame it ended too soon
It sucks that only NOW we're getting toys in the ES line that appeal to everyone. If they'd started with molds and paintwork of this caliber, it may have saved the series just a bit. (Even if the writing would be just as abysmal)

Ngl, when I first saw Aftermath while watching Earthspark S2? I actually thought he was pretty cool imo and yet after also hearing his voice since I know his VA Flea as the voice of Donnie in The Wild Thornberrys (*even tho' I watched the movie but not the show.)? he sorta became my 3rd favorite Terran after my 1st and 2nd favorite Terrans, Thrash and Jawbreaker :D And since today's my B-Day dispite that my B-Day party also starts either on Friday or Saturday? I'm thinking about ordering the figures of Thrash,Jawbreaker, and Aftermath on eBay when I'm given eBay gift cards on my B-Day next week👍

I underestimated this figure and assumed it wouldn’t be all that good, but no, it looks like a good figure and I like this bot’s robot mode design, and his engendering is is great.
I despise that series but that Bee is so good I had to get him. Even painted his rims and intakes, making him look even better. That new figure looks great but the real standout to me is Soundwave. I cant believe he hasn't been released or teased yet.

First of all, I have to agree: that leg trick during the transformation is incredibly neat. Second: I love this design SOOOOO much! It kinda reminds me of RiD2015. Let me explain: the first time I saw a pic of this dude was in robot mode and, seeing all those curved blades and spikes (both on the shoulders and the helmet) it gave me crazy beastformer vibes, specifically Sharticon vibes, and a decepticon (or decepticon aligned) having such feral traits in 'bot mode while having a relatively normal vehicle mode is 100% RiD2015. I have a question, if you don't mind: when it comes to the arm transformation you put a lot of emphasis on turning it at the ELBOW, not the bicep swivel... is that just to follow the instructions or does that have a functional reason (something like having the bicep turned causing clearence issues)?
The bicep has to be specifically at that angle form transformation otherwise causes some BIG clearance issues unfortunately. & OMG YES! The sharkticon vibes are so real! 🤩
