Family 1D Daytrip around Sungai Petani (Merbok, Lembah Bujang, Tg Dawai, Tupah, Semeling) Kedah.

- Took the family in our MPV for a daytrip to visit some historical sites as well as a nice cooling waterfall, great food and overall awesome day out. We started out around 10am from Penang and came home after a satay dinner in the car at Semeling. Definitely worth the time to drive around, just an hour or so away from Penang!
when i was a kid i always go to tupah ..im 41 now and living in kl..missed my hometown sg petani..
I lived in SP from 1971-1980.... my uncle used to bring us to this river to swim those days, so now I bring my kids there. SP has changed so much especially near Sg. Lalang and Bedong area, more spread out but I still love the old town area the most.

Tupah was a nice place for a picnic but was closed due to the rat urine infection. They closed for treatment I think. Now it's OK
However all these problems., due to humans not disposing food left overs😂😂
Oh I didn't know that bro... OMG the people must have been dumping a lot of food waste to make it so bad. And there is a water treatment system just above the waterfall!
@pishedbloke they closed a few which I know of. Tupah, bukit hijau, sidim and a few more around baling. The one near baling no longer exist after the massive landslide which completely destroyed the village and the waterfall
@@jackmuthu8142 I remember the Baling incident, we sometimes go camping and some buddies told us it was dangerous during the musim kepala air.
