I don't buy auto parts from Amazon anymore!! Every single part I have ordered has been wrong. The last straw was brake pads. Had the car all tore apart and they were the wrong brake pads for the back🤦♂️!!had to go to the auto parts store to get the correct pads
Hey man, is that yellow rare? My 85 c10 is that yellow and my neighbor said he’s never seen that color accept for city work trucks. He looked on some classic car database and said he thinks this yellow is kinda rare. If it is I’m going to repaint mine yellow. If it’s a common color I’m going to repaint it dark blue or something lol
@@menow. the wires are probably clipped on the bottom part of the dash or they're coming in from the top. You must have air-conditioning. Extra ducting under dash
How I remember that happening to my 85 half ton Chevy
My 1980 chev has nuts holding the bezel and switch in place. I will try removing the dash to get better access.
Great video!!
Thank you much👍
@@zmurray9499 no problem
Thanks I’m having the same issue on my 86 Silverado
Just be careful installing the new one. Those four arms are very fragile.
At my local Napa in stock for $1.99; Amazon has it for $18.01; no brainer where I bought it 😉

From what I see in the Pacific Northwest it’s a common color for the square body.👍
Yeah, but I wish my switch had that much slack in the wiring.

@@zmurray9499 From the top. I was able to get the switch apart in the ashtray opening.
I need to bypass this to go to a single tank operation.
