I grew up without cable tv, so PBS was my channel, my sisters and I didn't missed zoom, arthur and Clifford the big red dog, thank you for the video! I believe I sent a poem once 😅😂🤣😂
Oh I LOVED this! Talk about serious nostalgia. My dad, Kenny, was actually one of the original cast members of Zoom in 1972. In the early 90s, the producers sent all the cast members VHS tapes of most of seasons 1 & 2, I binged watched them like crazy in elementary school. I recently discovered this show, as well as the original from the ‘70s, and it’s really intriguing to see what the kids are up to now. Rest well, Jared 😢
I grew up during the era of first generation of the ORIGINAL TV show Zoom (my friends and I watched every day after school), it aired from January 9, 1972 - May 24, 1978. I actually went to elementary with Zoom cast member Carmen Hernandez (Season 4, 1974-1975). My son grew up watching the second generation of Zoom (your generation, 1999-2005), and he loved the show just as much as I did growing up! It was a great TV show (both fun & educational), and would be nice if PBS created a newer, third generation of Zoom. .
Thank you so much for making and posting this!!! I was 11 in 1999 and loved watching this show. I actually got the idea for my 10th grade science project from Zoom's Zlime episode using cornstarch and water...I got 100% on it and my teacher loved it! I now have an 8 year old daughter who I am introducing to zoom by showing her old episodes. Great video, thanks again!!! Also, you have the most beautiful and vibrant smile I've ever seen :)
