I think we can beat Eastern Illinois, Central Michigan, Purdue, Minnesota, Michigan State and Northwestern. I think having a returning quarterback in year two of the system is gonna be helpful.

The 50:50 games for Illinois in my opinion are Kansas, Nebraska, Purdue, Michigan, Minnesota, Michigan State, Rutgers, and Northwestern.

How many of these teams are returning their starting QB from a year ago? That makes a big difference and is why I believe Illini can win at least 7 games.

Illinois have a lot of 50/50 Games this season and i have them winning between 5 to 7 games this season...
Wins: Eastern Illinois, Central Michigan
Underdogs: Kansas, Michigan, Penn State, Oregon
50/50 Games: Nebraska, Purdue, Minnesota, Michigan State, Rutgers, Northwestern ...

lol at these comments... I really don't see Illinois as an improved team over last year, especially with Newton gone .They are basically the same team minus Newton and some other good players they lost. All their best players are injured, rb Kaden Feagin and Matt Bailey. A 7-5 season, 50/50 chance of beating Michigan? That's a veeryy optimistic outlook, it would be even without the plague of injuries.
