Thanks 🙏 Great question so I am currently using it to measure separate AC loads such as Hot water and EV Charger. Whilst these don’t appear in the main screen of VRM the data can be shown in the advanced section. As regards to measuring 2 PV inverters I haven’t tried it but can’t see why not it would likely combine the data on the VRM dashboard as 1 PV inverter but it would be treating it almost like a 3 phase meter
This may have been done before they said so, but I’m pretty sure you’re explicitly banned from installing this equipment under stairs in any new install
Indeed it has been there for near on 2 years now. The PAS 63100 document that came out recently I think you are referring to does have excellent guidance and I agree should be where practically possible the minimum standard we design and install too now. I would prefer to relocate this setup but there isn’t many better options. we have double boarded to provide 1 hr fire protection with interlinked smoke detectors, it is also not adjacent final exit routes and there is alternative means of escape. Certainly welcome your comments as I feel we should always be looking to improve standards and safety. hope the video was also in some way useful to you 🙏
🙏Thanks for sharing -
You are welcome thanks for watching I have one coming up about the new Victron meter which will be posted soon.
Thank you for clarifying. Very helpful 👍
Thanks for the feedback. If there anything else you would like me to make video on in more detail let me know 🙏
Very nice 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice video. Question, can you use the ET340 to measure 2 AC loads (not grid)? eg 2 separate PV systems?

Nice video! Is that loud hum coming from the Multiplus? 😮
Thanks, it is indeed, in fairness it was kicking out some power at the time but the fans in the multiplus do seem to be quite industrial sounding.
When it’s Saturday high-power it’s important to remember the transformer is also under a load
