I'm always looking for new edf jets I can add to the collection that will be capable of handling the grass runway at my local rc airplane club. The FMS Twin 70mm SU-27 is an animal. Double the motor, double the sound, double the power.

What a beauty! Wished it had thrust reverse just to be sure .. only thing holding me back.
Regarding the f22, i also swapt the main gear with the gear from the freewing zeus.
Added smaller wheels to compensate with the zeus nose wheel. Its WAY more stable.

@Reptielenfreak Thrust reverse would be a nice feature thankfully the grass at my field slows my jets down well. The F-22 is now a true gentle giant with the Zeus nose gear. Thanks for watching!

What flight times are u getting on that spektrum 5000mah ? I just got a J-11, and planning on 6000mah for those twin 70 battery eaters !

@tonyp2263 On the Spektrum 5000 I wouldn't go any longer than 2:30 - 3 mins. Now that I have the Afterburner kit hooked up to it I don't go past 2:30 however I just purchased some HRB 6000 batteries that I will be testing this Friday at the field. Those twin 70s need a lot of juice!

@215cyclone I was able to comfortably get 3:30 of flight time with my hrb 6000 packs today and since the weight difference between these and my admiral 5000s are hardly noticeable I was able to get off the grass very easily

Thanks. Both were 100c ? 3:30 not terrible for a twin
