I have tried a number of different instructions on this A2 holder. They all worked but this is the most sturdy and easiest. I have one tip to make it easier - use a little sticky note to mark top and bottom. I was using a dark patterned paper and this helped orient me. Also, I used a scrap of heavy paper from packaging to line the back to give it even more stability.
I am officially addicted to these. Changed the dimensions to enable me to store my dies and stamps that I store in CD cases. Great use for the paper in my pads that I won't use for my cards.
Hi May May, I would love to see your videos on 6x6 and 5x7 card holders soon. God bless and Have a wonderful year ahead crafting the things you love. With lots of crafty wishes, Marilyn
I made tons of these a couple years ago, just exactly like yours, and they are strong and to this day show no wear. They are perfect on the shelf. Only thing I did not do was cover them, just made them with plain black cardstock cause you don't see the back or the sides. I love how you attached the front tag showing which type of card, I will have to do that, that's perfect! TFS Love your channel.
I was already in awe, but when I got to the part where you show how to use the little flap to pull the box forward from the shelf.... my brain exploded! Love ya, Maymay!
Love the idea...will be waiting to see the other videos before I decide which will work best for me. Yes, make the other size card holders too. Thanks!
You're BACK!!!! I missed you sooooo much! I love this idea and will be using it as a "gift box" full of cards. I think it is perfect for peoplewho work in an office and need to have some cards available.
I made something similar from watching another RUclips video-a lot of cutting. This is SO MUCH SIMPLER! Thanks for sharing! Would love to do a 5x7 size🙂.
You are my hero!!! You're AMAZING!!! And all the time it takes for you to figure the measurements and make the prototypes, I applaud you. You go all the way for us, THANK YOU! FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART, YOUR THE BEST MAYMAY❤
Maymay, you know what I REALLY appreciate - I'm gonna show my ignorance - I REALLY appreciate how you break down that durn trimmer!! I cannot tell you how many papers I've ruined because I mess up the trimming! Don't know why I have a missing link regarding measurements. I'll look forward to other sizes on this project - it'll keep me from figuring out the math!
Love this! I’m going to have to make a bunch of these. I have to admit it took me forever to get through the video. I was nervously watching the Liberty Bowl and using RUclips to distract me. I had to keep pausing so I could watch the game. Go Cyclones!
Absolutely, would love at least measurements for 5x7 and 6x6 sizes. Since I make many cards in many assorted sizes, I would probably make the largest size boxes, and then store all cards with a given theme in the theme box, each theme box containing various sizes. Love your tutorial videos!
Love love love this Maymay. Definitely gona use this design. Also received my scripture stamps on 27th December, all the way to Northern Ireland, fantastic service as usual Vinnie. God bless, guide & protect y’all in 2018.
Fantastic!! Yes I'd love one for square cards, but I do 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 but I'll watch your 6 x 6 tutorial and adjust. Thanks a bunch and HAPPY NEW YEAR! 💕💖💕💖
Your videos are always SO enjoyable to watch. I can't think of anyone I've watched who explains things as well as you do! You answer pretty much any question that anyone could possible come up with, but you do it before anyone asks! :) I'd also love a tutorial for the 5x7 and 6x6. I don't make 6x6 cards, but as another poster suggested, I think it would be great to organinze 6x6 paper pads!
I would love to see a post card. I discovered on vacation that they are cheaper to mail but the main thing I loved was how many I can pack in the space of one card and no envelope is a bonus if you are mailing out several at a time.
I love this Maymay & I will be making it! My mindset for this new year is totally going to be, "I'm not gonna stress about it!" I so appreciate you always encouraging us to just do our best & have fun with it. After all, as you always say, "It's only paper!" May the Lord bless you & your family in the New Year!
love this idea! made one along with you with double sided paper so didn't have to do all that other lol! I like simplicity! You are such an inspiration!!
You are genius at making these things! I can't wrap my head around how you do it!! Thank you! I have to try this! Happy New Year and loads of blessings!! 💕🤗
I love the stability and durability you have given these. I think you should patent your method! Yes, I'd love to see some other sizes as well. Happy New Year to you and your family.
I like the idea of the tag in front for pulling them off the shelf. I've been using decorated Kleenex boxes (the small ones) for my cards. Each has an identifying tag, but not as easy to get to as these would be. Thanks for the inspiration and excellent instructions! Oh, and please do make one for 6×6 paper. :-)
Please do make the other sides also I could use something to store my 6x6 paper pads in ( I only have a few). I feel like this should work great!! You’re so smart!!
Great job! If you want to reinforce it further, you can put in matching card stock in the inside of the box. This is a must do for me!!! Thanks for sharing.
These are so cute!! Yes please show us how to make other sizes. And I’m heading over to your store to purchase the stamp set you used, I just love your store!! Thank you for sharing this with us. Happy new year to you and yours. 🎉
I really reinforced mine but using the other half of the second sheet of 12x12. I cut it the same way and lined the inside as well. My first one was all one color but if you have double sided paper you can use the contrasting pattern on the inside.
You are one of the most organized and articulate teachers on RUclips! Thank you!
Fabulous idea. I might be 5 years late to this tutorial but I am so going to try this!
I like your videos because they are short, to the point and focus on one thing.
Great sturdy box for cards. Love the colors you choose.
Yes please, 6x6 and 5x7 would be great. Thank you for this.
You amaze me with how clever you are. I am going to try to make this size and would love to see one for A8 envelopes and cards. 😃

Maymay....you are a true paper architect!!!!!!
Great idea! I, too, would like a 6x6 for paper pads
i would like to see the larger sizes made for bigger cards! Great idea!!
I am officially addicted to these. Changed the dimensions to enable me to store my dies and stamps that I store in CD cases. Great use for the paper in my pads that I won't use for my cards.
Yes MayMay please make the 6x6 and 5x7's these are so cute in the process of making some right now Thank you for sharing
I love these. You're too clever. I would love more ideas and different sizes also. Thanks bunches.
Please do the 5x7 and 6x6!! Wonderful tips for making this more sturdy by using all the pieces AND for making it larger! Thanks so much for sharing!!

I have been looking for instructions to make these for my cards. Thank you so much May May.
What a great way to hold our cards. Love that stamp set. Will have to order it. Thanks for the great idea.
Love these two, definitely will make some, thank you for sharing.
Love this! I’m going to have to make a bunch of these. I have to admit it took me forever to get through the video. I was nervously watching the Liberty Bowl and using RUclips to distract me. I had to keep pausing so I could watch the game. Go Cyclones!
