    Foot notes that I would like to add:
    the outer barrel needs to be modified, as Marui spec outers have a smaller and shallower gap for the frame cam.
    The spring on the rotor is redundant per my experience, I remove it on my SAI G17 to reduce friction even more (the spring is too stiff on mine to work properly as a zero hammer)
    Magwells don't fit properly, you will need either file or tape to have it fit properly.
    A marui spec slide and bbu will fit, however it does not engage the trigger disconnct properly meaning you cannot release the hammer with that slide on.

    I have bought a green gas SA G17 match (with a fire selector located inside, after the hammer) recently, it lasted me 3 games before the hammer decided to randomly stop working, leaving it unable to shoot.
    Unfortunately here in italy spare parts for SA are very rare to find, most shops have them out of stock

      Question please: does the stark arms Glock have a fixed shell extractor? Also can you put real steel sights on them?

    • @RogueSystem087

      lol hahaha yea i'm the crazy one here XP

    • @RogueSystem087
      @RogueSystem087  7 лет назад

      for shell extractor, yes its seperate i believe and also for real steel sights. Unfornately, I myself have never owned a set of real steel sights and installed them onto stark arms before. I'm actually not a big fan of doing that cos the metal on the stark arms I think it will give out really easily if i decide to tap a real iron sight into it.
      best regards,

    i think you undercut the trigger guard a little too much. under stress, it’s more liable to crack or fracture. but besides that, it’s very good stippling work! good job dude

    Also regardless of where the selector switch is on my gun it shoots full auto, I like the accuracy and how snappy it shoots but the whole not being able to use semi auto and extreme gas inefficiency is so sad.

    • @RogueSystem087
      @RogueSystem087  6 лет назад +1

      unfornately without custom tuning it, there's nothing you can do.
      I know this is a very vague answer and the reason is simply because a lot of custom work (not parts) is required to fix the issues you are having, which requires a lot of learning and a lot of... time. There's lots of post on forums and on fb groups you can read up to learn it all but its a long read.

    • @RogueSystem087
      @RogueSystem087  7 лет назад +1

      basically not possible. Have to :
      - change outer barrel to a TM one
      - buy a stark arms nozzle, bbu the whole seutp for the stark arms slide. Cannot use TM internals.
      - must be using a TM 18c or any copies of this system. like WE G18, etc etc
      - no other way around this.

    Hello Rogue, so the hammer on my SA g17 Combat SuperGrade "finally" broke, and I'm looking to replace it. I was wondering if I could replace my entire hammer housing(along with the parts inside) for a TM spec hammer housing? I've already replaced the BBU and nozzle with a g18c UAC BBU and nozzle, so the TM spec hammer housing should interact well with those. I don't mind filing and sanding the hammer housing a bit to fit it inside, but do you have any idea as to whether it is at all possible?

    • @fdwnt293
      @fdwnt293 2 года назад

      hi @zaniac did you make it finally?

    • @SwiftRzR
      @SwiftRzR 2 года назад

      @@fdwnt293 I bought an full APS hammer assembly and tried to fit it inside my SA17 grip, but there were simply too many areas that didn't fit. The housing was sitting 0,5-1 mm too high in the grip, even after a lot of filing.
      On top of that, the auto sear got stuck on the bbu, leading to it not cycling (even manually), and I don't remember if I ever pinpointed the exact reason for it.
      In the end I bought a steel hammer made for the SA17, made by azimuth, I think.
      Ever since I put the new hammer in, the gun has acted inconsistently at times, as if it didn't hit the output valve on the magazine with the same force every time(tested on SA mags and APS mags, both CO2).
      Til;dr ended up buying an SA spec hammer, as the TM spec hammer assembly proved too troublesome.

    Hey bud.
    If I purchase a WE G26 gas pistol, am I able to upgrade to a metal slide that has the official Glock grades...? Or would I save myself some trouble to juSt order the TM version....?
    I ask because I have found. a WE G26 for $64, and was thinking to hvae the full GLOCK trades, I could maybe purchase JUST the slide from TM ( or maybe another company that produces the slide with the trades), any advice....? Are ANY of the manufacturers that use REAL steel on the slides and they also have the REAL Glock trademark, and not just the “G”.....
    Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated! :)

    Hey, I was thinking about buying a Stark Arms. Now I'm not so sure, as reliability is a key for me, yet so is owning a GLOCK. Is a WE Glock or other a better substitute or should I stick with buying an Elite Force M1911 TAC (Old Reliable, never Break). Also maybe any other suggestions for a pistol to buy? I like fire selection, (fully auto/semi/burst). Also, amazing vid, so well informed. Maybe I should just buy a Tokyo Marui with a Metal Slide upgrade?

    • @RogueSystem087
      @RogueSystem087  6 лет назад +1

      STM Polaris Hmm i honestly think whatever system you understand best and willing to maintain is the system that you go for. It appears that people don’t mind using Stark arms as their base gun for their builds but for me i prefer TM just cos i find its a little bit more flexible in the choices that i have for aftermarket, technical support, and availability.
      I think if you live in the US, its a little difficult for you guys to use glocks in general so i think maybe stick to something that airsoft stores near u will support, like the umarex pistols, your elite force pistols (i’m not sure what elite force is) etc etc. If i have to give a reconmmendation, i would choose the KSC / KWA M9s or the HK45s, reason being the KSCs are difficult to take apart, yes, but they tend to work pretty well and replacing parts is not very frequent, and they do the job for a descent price (all things considered).

    • @onashenwings3850
      @onashenwings3850 6 лет назад +1

      Rogue Studios Yea, we have a hard time getting Glock clones in the US, but not if we buy them direct from Asia. I can buy from JkArmy and get it here. So do you think if I buy the VFC/Stark Arms one, I can mod it well eneough to be a reliable sidearm for a couple years, if so do you know which parts to relplace? Also Elite a Force/Umarex just released a Glock Trademarked in the US but the consensus is that it is not as good as the European and Asian Marui and Stark Arms. (Also Elite Force is our Umarex basically) I originally was looking for an EBB pistol/msg as a sidearm. But I have seen that the Tokyo Marui variants are around $240 and hard to get upgrades for.

    • @RogueSystem087
      @RogueSystem087  6 лет назад

      STM Polaris hmm i still think get whatever system you understand best and willing to maintain. Cos for the stark arms, some people dont like taking them apart and working on them, some domt like the proprietary stuff, i think maybe figure that out first. For example, in hong kong it makes more financial sense and logical sense to go with we or tm cos its not particular expensive and parts are readily available. The only reason why we dont use stark arms much cos we havw to order replaceament parts from taiwan or modify tmg18 parts to fit into stark arms and we also dont want to be trapped in a system with the other disadvantages that it has (thats too long for me to list). So ur gonna have to take a looksie to see what u prefer, The US market does appear to be getting ready to take in stark arms but it looks like its still ongoing atm. not sure how that will work out

      glock 22 mags fit in TM G17 and all other TM glocks including 22, 34, 26, 26 advance, 19, and 17.
      Slide for TM G17 will fit on tm g22. However, you have one extra condisideration to think of which is highlighted in this video

      np, u can get only regular tm g17 slide and just treat your G22 like a G17 (literally the same no difference.). The only difference is in the video i linked u ealrier about the trigger disconnect being stiffer on the g22 and g34 (otherwise, you have zero worries. Focus more on the slide you want to get and what problems it might have).

    • @flaviorodriguez
      @flaviorodriguez 7 лет назад

      I'm sorry for bothering you again. I'm about to buy another Glock TM, I'm trying to decide between a glock17 or a glock18C. Do the magazines of my glock22 fit in the Glock18C? Which Glock model do you recommend most?

    • @RogueSystem087
      @RogueSystem087  7 лет назад +1

      all mags for tm g17, 18c, 22, 34, their magazines are all cross compatible. Their magazinies can also fit in g26, 19 etc.
      For which glock model is best, I suggest just avoid TM G18c because its mainly for techs only. Its not an easy pistol to maintain and its not as easy to disassemble as the TM G17. And also, TM G18 uses an extra sear, called the full auto sear. It functions both in semi auto and full auto (its used in both cases, which makes understanding the pistol much more complicated than usual).
      Long story short, any TM G17 system is fine. TM G17, g22, g34, is all fine and i suggest u just stick to those.

    • @RogueSystem087
      @RogueSystem087  6 лет назад

      Johnny Long umarex g19 is a stark arms gen 2, exact same problems, nothing has changed from then and now other than a few very minor things

    • @johnnylong2049
      @johnnylong2049 6 лет назад

      Rogue Studios wow impressive response time, subbed... are we speaking of the same umarex/elite force gen 3 g19, glock licensed?

    • @RogueSystem087
      @RogueSystem087  6 лет назад +1

      Johnny Long yup,
      Umarex/EF glocks (all of them, exception of the C02/Springers/Non-blowbacks) = VFC/Stark Arms Gen 2 system with no G18c sear .
      Other minor differences
      > frame is less realistic on the umarex/EF version (cos u guys have different text, and also airsoft text)
      > Front chassis silver bit is slightly diff but same width so therefore not real noticeable difference.
      > Rotor has always been spring loaded since gen2, so no difference here even tho this has been noted to be a major difference for the Umarex/EF version.
      > Some minor changes to outer barrel, unknown reason, not sure myself.

    • @johnnylong2049
      @johnnylong2049 6 лет назад

      Rogue Studios does all that you have stated before apply to the stark arms steel slide edition? If so, how would I make it more reliable? Thank you so much for the responses and information!

    • @RogueSystem087
      @RogueSystem087  6 лет назад

      Johnny Long there is no stark arms steel edition, there's only stark arms with an aftermarket slide slapped on it but those to my understanding, are only available in taiwan and its either they have some in stock or don't have in stock (cos they are not made by stark arms factory).
      Since there's almost nothing you can do outside of doing custom modification, there's essentially nothing than average airsofter can do to make it work with a steel slide. (Unless if you really want to take the time to rebalance your spring system, gas efficiency, rocket valve output, blowback force optimization. All of which are normally done by a gunsmith).
      So the answer is essentially, nothing you can do, unless if you really want to invest in the tools and time. ( you can read up on those concepts if you wish, but its a long read).

      back a long time ago in october 2015 i visited there and happened to make a pre-order with them. Their store is in ahkihabara right next to echigoya and they have no website as of right now.
      They are planning to sell to others soon i'm told (within this month its possible it might show up in boom arms) for around 500 HKD for just steel barrel. Threaded barrel versions are all gone :(

      Thanks. Haven't tried Boom Arms before. They don't have retail shop anymore, just online. It seems their online prices are rather high.

    Why a TM over WE?

    • @RogueSystem087
      @RogueSystem087  7 лет назад +2

      just depends on your personal preference. I do not bother differentiating them if i'm upgrading. If stock, then yes there is a difference in performance for certain obvious reasons. Like plastic slide vs metal slide. Soft hammer spring (TM) vs harder hammer spring (WE). Comparing these guns stock is not really worth comparing cos too very different situations.
      best regards.

    How much are those sai ones?

    • @RogueSystem087
      @RogueSystem087  7 лет назад

      hmm around 900 to 1000 HKD which is around..... 130 USD? but due to the high demand, these things are always sold out and also they do not show up much on any websites :(
      if u want to get one, u probs have to find someone in your country can import these

    what your opinion on the kjw glocks

    • @RogueSystem087
      @RogueSystem087  6 лет назад +1

      Isaac Cheng not bad for upgrade, but i prefer WE as tm substitute. Kjw is tricky to work on for beginners sometimes, even i need time to get smooth in its stock configuration

      how about if i am planning to run it stock. does it last long?

    • @RogueSystem087
      @RogueSystem087  6 лет назад +1

      Isaac Cheng not ideal for using stock, unless if u r willing to fork out more for a nozzle and a BBU

      i guess i'll just pay the extra for a tm then

    What would you rate the quality, practicality and reliability of a stark arms glock 17 or 19 compared to a tokyo marui 17, 18 or 19? Looking for another skirmishable pistol and wondering which would be best.

    • @RogueSystem087
      @RogueSystem087  7 лет назад +1

      The only thing I would ever use is a TM g17 system or any other pistol that uses the same system like a TM G19 (which has not been released yet).
      I honestly never once found the stark arms to be that great, not a very long lasting pistol, needs work for sure.
      best regards,

      RogueSystem087 Thank you so much, you have most definitely earned my sub.
      I'm looking forward to catching up on your uploads.
      I have a tm desert eagle but I may require a compact pistol too. So far the Deagle has really impressed me but something a bit smaller could be useful. Glocks seem perfect.

      Lewis Hampson yeah, I have a fully marked Glock 19 from VFC Starkarms. It has all the markings and name. Metal slide and polymer, I don’t think they make these anymore and I have it for collectible but how much were you looking to buyV
