At the time they were blaming roid rage, but now it's pretty apparent that he had brain damage from the amount of concussions he's had. I could be mistaken but I believe it was released that he had the equivalent of a brain of an 84 year old man. Sad stuff.
My childhood friends and I used to be huge into MMA/COMBAT SPORTS around 8th grade onward (late 90s) and we would backyard box, wrestle, etc....and we would really hurt each other to the head frequently. We all were concussed probably 8-10 times minimum. Of that circle of friends, me and 2 others are the only ones still alive (suicides and drug overdoses) and ALL of us had some kind of struggles with crazy mental shit. It took us to.make it into our 30s to straighten out. I've always wondered if it was compounded by the crazy head trauma we inflicted on each other.
