The reliability problems experienced by First, combined with increased passenger numbers, eventually led the operator to lose patience with the class and it acquired extra refurbished HST sets towards the end of 2007 as replacements on the express commuter services. Most of the Class 180 fleet was returned to the leasing company Angel Trains in early 2008!

Please substantiate. As evacuating passengers from a train frequently entails them being evacuated into the immediate operating environment of a potentially live railway line. This is something which cannot be avoided in most cases because railway lines are what trains essentially require in terms of operating in their 'intentional' and 'fit for purpose' way. Yet staff exposed to this same operating environment require proficiency tests and certification before they are even allowed to go near there and when they do the wearing of three items of railway approved safety / protective clothing and equipment are mandatory. Unless of course you have other ideas like trains 'beetling merrily up and down the motorway' or 'winging their way at cruising height' between airports Clever Cloggs ...

Reset the engine start oojiemadoodle by running to the toilet and doing a poo. Then go to the cab press loads of gobbledygook buttons such as the stereo controls, hand basin reset valve.
