I got this watch when i go visit at japan since a kid, 20years++ has passed and watch is still function properly. It's show to the word that good stuffs doesn't need to be expensive or over engineered, just well design well engineer, that's all it take to build a good stuffs. Nowadays almost every products are engineered to failed, but casio still do what they do best. Build something to last and potentially outlast owner.
picked up two AE1200's, a black one and a silver one, wore them to death, and after a polywatch wipe down, and a nice cleaning, they still look good as new- I haven't change the batteries on both of them yet so far running strong for 5 years.
@@abhinandmanwate4219 for sporty and every day casual wear, I used the black model, for dressy time and looking fancy, the silver one- this is why my black one had more dents and dings, but depending on your mood, either one was great to wear, both are very affordable to own.
I have an AE1200, GW5600 and a Mudmaster. The AE is by far my favorite simply because it is so comfortable even with the cheaper feeling band. It's light and fit is perfect.
Why? It's got everything you ever need. The size is on point, neither too small, nor too big.And it's like a perfect combination of symmetric and asymmetric aesthetics.
Love this watch so much. I just bought a new version of this Casio AE-1200WHL-5AV and I notice it had a demo mode that it cycles through 5 cities times periodically just like in 2:08 . Was wondering, if i setup this watch, will i have the ability to have that demo mode again?
Got the black one with green map. But couldn’t get over how much I also liked the black one with red lettering so I ordered that one before even receiving the first one. And now the silver one is calling for me. Someone please stop me 😂
Good review. I have the ae-1200whd with the steel bracelet, but swapped it to a black Casio strap and it looks great. I ended up giving that to my son and he likes it. I'm considering getting another one, the plain black one. I have a question, do you like the SKX-Mod case and bracelet? Does that strap pull arm hairs? How much heavier does it make it? Does it make it feel more premium?
@@adsagp I do have the SKX conversion and there is a review on my channel. It is very good. It makes the watch more rugged and easier to wear because of the clasp on the bracelet. I can't comment on it pulling hairs though as I don't have any on my wrist.
I have the standard black resin one only, but have now swapped it into a steel case and bracelet from SKXMod. If you are unsure of the standard Casio steel bracelet version, my suggestion would be to check it out in person from a retail store.
Awesome, AE1200 silver and steel bracelet is my 1st Casio as a farewell gift from my colleagues, working flawlessly on original battery since 2018. I would like to suggest you to have MWD 110h positive display one in your collection if you don't have yet. Bought it 2 days back at just INR 2000 or USD 24. And would appreciate your review of the same ❤
Thanks for this review. If I had to guess, I'd have imagined this came out in the 80s. It hits that nostalgia button hard. Speaking of which, my most favorite feature of this watch is the amber light.
It‘s a véry good watch with a timeless design, simple as that. And when you go and buy a stainless steel case with sapphire from skxmod, get a pair of adapters for more strap options, it‘s a f*cking great watch. Not very cheap anymore, but great.
Here's what great about this watch that spoils us. 1. This watch is fairly thin, giving it a dressy feel. 2. This watch has TWO, count'em two LED lights. Some more expensive Casio watches only have one LED on the left side. This has two on each side, making it easier to read in low light conditions. 3. The LCD display quality and font selection is on par with G-Shock watches. I love the bold fat segmented number display compared to the thinner segments on other Casios. It reminds me more so of old calculators. The clarity and legibility makes it befitting of those SKX case mods with the sapphire crystal. The only downside to this watch is the lack of a Snooze Alarm as a part of its five alarm feature.
I recently picked up one of these at a Walmart in Michigan that was closing down its Jewelry Department
. It was Five Dollars!
That is a bargain.
wait 5$ ? then what is the cost of production for this thing
Jesus! It's like 50$ equivalent where I live :(
My friend, you bagged yourself an absolute bargain.

I like it. I do have the silver Casio Royale watch, but I would love the black Casio Royale watch too.😊😊😊😊

Which one is good black or sliver for looks and quality?
@@abhinandmanwate4219 both, but I use the silver one for formal and the black for casual.

I pick up the bronze one, it's a great every day and travel watch
Just got this today!
Just buy on this Oktober.. love it❤
I really like the way you review Casio watches.
@@minhoanguyen96 Thanks.
They amount of female attention I get wearing this watch is insane. That's why everyone loves this watch.
damn really? which colourway you have? I thought it was more like a "nerdy vibes" watch
I bought it solely because it has a world map and it is just so cool

4:28 that atlas alone would make me want one.

Which is better, the all black on resin or the silver on bracelet?
I like the look of the silver, I’m just worried I will hate the cheap bracelet.

Buy the WHL version.
I have black 2 blak and 1silver metal . Best looking black fiber with green map
The one with the green map does look very good.
Just got one!
i have a casio ae1500 with bigger numbers but cant get easily the strap replacement, only for 1200 and 1300 MODELS REPLACEMENT ARE CHEAP EVERYWHERE

Thanks for watching and appreciate your suggestion. I will consider reviewing the MWD-110H.
I never reach for my 1200 anymore, never been amongst my favorites, it's the inaccuracy in timekeeping for me. Love the ae1500 however!
I’m glad that you found a watch that you are happy with.
but even the casio ae1500 has the same accuracy of +or - 30 seconds each month as ae1200 😒
@@madmaxhan I have not checked in the longest time, but I believe my 1500 keeps time better than the 12. Will check and comment here.

Cooool❤️
💯🔥
And how much did the mods add to the cost of your $25 watch?
Bought it today . In reality it is smaller than i picture online and i have average wrist
Its well loved because it ain't s#×t Enough said...Yeah!👍
I prefer my 800H. Functionally identical sans the near useless seconds display and world map.
Own it. 1B. Fckin love the watch. #12hundredgang
I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't.
My question is why people dont care for Amazfit Neo. The better version of Casio Royal.
Because this is what James Bond wears all the time.Even in real life.
Because that thing is smartwatch.
