I recently picked up one of these at a Walmart in Michigan that was closing down its Jewelry Department
. It was Five Dollars!

picked up two AE1200's, a black one and a silver one, wore them to death, and after a polywatch wipe down, and a nice cleaning, they still look good as new- I haven't change the batteries on both of them yet so far running strong for 5 years.
Which one is good black or sliver for looks and quality?
@@abhinandmanwate4219 both, but I use the silver one for formal and the black for casual.
Why? It's got everything you ever need. The size is on point, neither too small, nor too big.And it's like a perfect combination of symmetric and asymmetric aesthetics.
I pick up the bronze one, it's a great every day and travel watch

i have a casio ae1500 with bigger numbers but cant get easily the strap replacement, only for 1200 and 1300 MODELS REPLACEMENT ARE CHEAP EVERYWHERE
Awesome, AE1200 silver and steel bracelet is my 1st Casio as a farewell gift from my colleagues, working flawlessly on original battery since 2018.
I would like to suggest you to have MWD 110h positive display one in your collection if you don't have yet. Bought it 2 days back at just INR 2000 or USD 24.

Good review. I have the ae-1200whd with the steel bracelet, but swapped it to a black Casio strap and it looks great. I ended up giving that to my son and he likes it. I'm considering getting another one, the plain black one.
I have a question, do you like the SKX-Mod case and bracelet? Does that strap pull arm hairs? How much heavier does it make it? Does it make it feel more premium?
@@adsagp I do have the SKX conversion and there is a review on my channel. It is very good. It makes the watch more rugged and easier to wear because of the clasp on the bracelet. I can't comment on it pulling hairs though as I don't have any on my wrist.

The one with the green map does look very good.
It‘s a véry good watch with a timeless design, simple as that. And when you go and buy a stainless steel case with sapphire from skxmod, get a pair of adapters for more strap options, it‘s a f*cking great watch. Not very cheap anymore, but great.
I ordered one and will replace its rubber with skemei black metal bracelet.
Which is better, the all black on resin or the silver on bracelet?
I like the look of the silver, I’m just worried I will hate the cheap bracelet.
I have the standard black resin one only, but have now swapped it into a steel case and bracelet from SKXMod. If you are unsure of the standard Casio steel bracelet version, my suggestion would be to check it out in person from a retail store.
Thanks for this review. If I had to guess, I'd have imagined this came out in the 80s. It hits that nostalgia button hard. Speaking of which, my most favorite feature of this watch is the amber light.

I never reach for my 1200 anymore, never been amongst my favorites, it's the inaccuracy in timekeeping for me. Love the ae1500 however!

but even the casio ae1500 has the same accuracy of +or - 30 seconds each month as ae1200 😒
@@madmaxhan I have not checked in the longest time, but I believe my 1500 keeps time better than the 12. Will check and comment here.
I prefer my 800H. Functionally identical sans the near useless seconds display and world map.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't.

Here's what great about this watch that spoils us.
1. This watch is fairly thin, giving it a dressy feel.
2. This watch has TWO, count'em two LED lights. Some more expensive Casio watches only have one LED on the left side. This has two on each side, making it easier to read in low light conditions.
3. The LCD display quality and font selection is on par with G-Shock watches. I love the bold fat segmented number display compared to the thinner segments on other Casios. It reminds me more so of old calculators. The clarity and legibility makes it befitting of those SKX case mods with the sapphire crystal.
The only downside to this watch is the lack of a Snooze Alarm as a part of its five alarm feature.
Its well loved because it ain't s#×t Enough said...Yeah!👍
My question is why people dont care for Amazfit Neo. The better version of Casio Royal.
Because this is what James Bond wears all the time.Even in real life.
Because that thing is smartwatch.
If other Casio fans are like me, they like Casio watches because the are digital, not smart watches. I hate smart watches.
