Went against my first HHH comp in final round last night and it felt so hopeless. Only plat 2 avg elo so not high but maaaan the burst through RPGs and general solidness of Lewis Gun and SA12 were just absurd

Just won a triple light game today. I’ve been leaning to the side of just playing for fun since the end of season 1. It’s very much been worth it for enjoying the game. That’s the real win.

I hopw this becomes a thing because a) Grenade launcher heavy with two other heavies is super fun imo.
B) grenade launcher heavy can be good against some aspects of heavy teams. Has weaknesses vs others but. No aps, slower movement.
Dedicate yourself to goo sledge. It will make the game better.
It is really fun and can be super good if you got a healer

Well-deserved break. Thanks for all the help learning the game better. I hope The Finals figures out how to have a pro scene (and to your point, where there is enough to the game that players end up having to innovate and adapt along the way), and as a potential fan, I hope to see you there.

I've played the game enthusiastically mostly playing and mastering strange/supportive builds in casuals. haven't dug into ranked much, but if you want some fun ideas, I've enjoyed being paramedic as a grapple hook light class. flashing points, picking up team trophies and flinging us away to a safer, more advantageous position. Hope this helps.

one thing im doing to try and keep it fun is a few games a day ill pick the items i have the least xp on, sometimes it sucks but other times ill find my groove with a goo grenade and revolver

Do what ever makes you happy. We totally understand the frustrations with how the balancing has been going, and burn out is a VERY valid reason to need a break.
I personally am dealing with it with the finals as well... or really just in ranked. What has me frustrated is even though matches are typically very balanced rank wise since this patch, the previous system of calculating rank did not change along with that. I dont know why I as a plat 1 player, need to make it all the way to final round to gain any elo, if im only playing against plat 1 - top 500. I feel like the difficulty in ranked mode should come from your opponents, not the ranked system itself.
I really hope they start buffing Ls and Ms instead of nerfing H, although giving heavy lots of power and defense with passable mobility and sustain is why Heavy is busted.

Oil slick grenade would be a fun gadget! Reduced fiction like ice. Would counter charge n slam and would create some crazy movement potential.

If barricade is stop you, your not playing the finals right. If you cant get into an area, move the area.

I feel like this game has like no real motivation to play after you have fun. There’s no storyline, no real reason to play comp after hitting diamond, no reason to grind the game after weekly’s and battlepass. There’s just so little content and rewards even though there seems like a lot. I feel like this game needs a real goal.
Top 3000 from solo Q and there has been a lot of toxicity amongst random teammates lately

What does head glitch mean?
Old term of where u shoot players while only your head shows, not actually a glitch
In most games bullets actually come from your eyes, and not the gun. Head "glitching" is hiding everything except your face so you can have an easy time shooting without being shot.

i think the reason the game is "dying is becuse in high elo light is useless and low elo light is this sort of god that's a scummy pick and too op too prove this a creator i like JFJ streams this game and all he does is complain about light every stream and just talks shit about light players its unbearable and guess what hes gold i was a top 3000 sword main s1 (on console) and i was around 4600 s2 before i took a break BUT light rn is the weakest and the disagreement between the community stresses the devs out on what's the right decison i hope for the sake of high elo and just the game in general is that embark cooks on Wednesday and allows more diversity btw i love your vids and what u do for the community cant wait for this game to find its pace

you should have tried playing heavy back before the update. Inviz lights with stun gun and m11 EVERYWHERE killing you every time you tried to move anywhere. Too cheap needed a nerf. Heavy are too slow and have no range weapons.
Ive been playing heavy since day 1 as a flex pick, heavy is always op. The lewis gun has better range than all the medium guns and the slow movement is negated by having a medium get u around, or be like thhis squad and u dont need movement when u just win all ur fights
what other games are the to play besides this though? other games seem very trashy
