Innovation, Automation and Integration Drive Productivity

It is important to not ignore the opportunities in front of us. The most common are out there for productivity, automation and integration between systems. Usually, the issue I see is that there's a lot of manual work going on with Excel spreadsheets or other things which aren't tied into anything else, a lack of workflow automation and temporary solutions put in place to get an idea of where things stand. There are also disconnects when it comes to how one can acquire information from one place to another. A lot more can be done by accounting firms if they find a solution that works better- integrating the whole experience from proposal piece, bringing clients from the beginning all the way through the process until completion while having everything centralized or as close as possible.
