That's called hydraulic impact pile driving it's like a new version of driving piles into the ground it can drive other things into the ground too that did that just in a couple of seconds That's interesting how people can come up with good equipment to do hard work when years ago I used to take a lot longer to do thank you.

This is called Cofferdam, using Sheet Pile Installation method. The sheet piles are driven into the ground or seabed using specialized equipment, such as hydraulic hammers or vibratory pile drivers. They are interlocked to form a continuous barrier.
Me too, i live on rock lane between boulder gulch and chert ridge lane, by the rubbles, I'm thinkin maybe there using a frequency that would blast the rock in the ground kinda like mayb the way the pyramid stones were cut, but nah, just beach sand i guess!!!

Note the head pressure come off at the end .... watch the head pop back up into the released position ( no pressure applied on the head ) the head jumps up
In our case, it was for keeping water and rock out while the foundation for the pump station was built. Drive sheet piling, dig out inside, lay rebar mats, pour tremie mix, and wait. Next day pump out water and start building structure of pump bays. How much tremie mix poured underwater, about 1000 yards of it.

Impressive. It takes me a half hour to dig a one foot hole in my rock infested yard.
