Never flaunt your money, because you will be attracting the wrong people.
It is not your obligation to pay for everyone in your circle. You are better off buying a homeless person lunch/dinner. You are better off buying a new wheelchair for someone in need rather than blowing that money on booze for the evening. People in your circle have jobs, they can buy their own drinks and pay for their own food.
Never pick up your date in a nice car, fancy clothes and fancy outings, in fact rent an old car and if she goes out with you on more dates after that, then she's a keeper.
I just hope that people learn the lesson before all of it is gone or that person walks out of your life because there is no more money.

there's nothing wrong with a woman being attracted to expensive cars. They are future mothers, it's nature itself dictating through billions of years of evolution to mate with a male that will be able to feed and provide for the off-spring. Same as there's nothing wrong with men being attracted to femininas with large titties and good skin cause it's nature itself dictating that a feminina like that will be able to bear the child, not die in fuken labor and then be able to feed it in its infant years. Now the time where shit goes wrong is when ugly af fat bitches like half of california are so brainwashed by social networks into thinking they don't need to take care of themselves and are STILL entitled to date males with Lamborghinis, now that shit is plain wrong yeah.

I'm selling off anything I don't need and use that fiat money to pay for groceries, the barbershop et cetera. Meanwhile, I'm putting all that lazy spare money on my bank account to work through trading and investing. Financial independence will buy you mental ease. I don't care about cars, expensive holidays and what you have. I rather work out, read books, meet friends and enjoy people in general. That's real wealth. You are ahead of the curve, young man. The old saying " money can't buy happiness" is right. BUT, what money can buy is freedom. If you can't be happy with freedom, it's not the moneys fault.
The hardest thing about trading for me was I never felt like I accomplished anything. All I had was a bigger account, if things went well. When I was young, and built houses, I could see what I'd done that day, and 30 years later I can still drive by them.
The best thing I ever did was set a number, as a goal, and quit when I got there. I still keep an eye on the markets, and have even been trading when they offer free money, like the last couple weeks.
Trading is hard work and a lot of fun, but very lonely, and easy to burn out. Once you learn to walk away from a screen, life gets better. There is always another trade. Enjoyed listening to you talk !

I liked your openess, thank you for your sincerity. As a Christian, and learning to trade / invest, my purpose is not just to have my need's and my family' met (food, medicine, transportation, clothes, etc.), I want to be the hands and feet of Jesus, helping others fight poverty, lack of education, illness and loneliness. Being alone is a great form of suffering these days, and I'd like to tacle on this social issue with resources and the help of churches. I've have had a high paying job in the past and I'm aware that money does not necesarely humanizes you, it just unlocks rooms of your mind and soul that you didn't know where there before, and that poses challenges and hard questions. So, it is good always to work hard, think hard about what am I doing here? Do I have any purpose or cause I'd like to invest my life in? The Bible says the greatest thing for which God made us is love: to love Him above all else, and to love our neighbour as ourselves. Thank you for you channel! Greetings from Chile!

6 minutes in and this is the most useful and humane video i've seen about trading yet. We often look at money as if it is the only thing that matters (and of course they do to some extent) and that we should put our efforts to. That's where things start getting creepy. Take a 40 yr time period, the best traders in the world would average 15-20% Cagr....Consistency is key here, Cagr matters not amount!! I can totally relate to this. I have a friend who's family is loaded! I've been on 2 month long European vacations with him going to Morocco, Spain, Tunisia, Italy, Greece and Turkey. There are things that are great. To finally "live" with no concern about money. But there is a downside. Like you said, your problems are still there. For me it wasn't problems, but I felt "empty". My life ceased to have meaning. I was aimless. Just traveling and wandering around but I felt like I didn't have a purpose anymore. I think that was the most surprising thing for me from the experience. Everyone always wonders what it would like to be rich and they are sure it would be great. And that's true to a point. But people never think about the other side. I'm a trader. Last year was my first profitable year after 8 years. I do want to make all the money I can but it's not for houses, watches, clothes, cars or any other material things. They can't bring happiness. The money will enable me to be "Free" and have the resources to fulfill a purpose. To do something of meaning to me. To be able to truly "live"!

You're right. I think the US needs to stand by and do exactly nothing as Russia and China take Venezuela over and enslave everyone there. There's still plenty of room for them to serve as yet another example of what happens when you implement a socialist government that runs its country into the ground and then keeps borrowing until everyone is destined for a lifetime of bondage. Too bad I don't make the policies.

Great to hear someone talking candidly about the reality of money and trading, very refreshing and it's great you have realised that money and posessions do not lead to happiness, some of the most contented people I know have very little. You have realised it at quite a young age which will stop you from wasting your energy in future, because you realise that money does not lead to personal fulfillment. I can relate to everything you say because i am more content in my life today than I have ever been and I have the least I have ever had, I am 50 years old and I was chasing money for 35 years before i realised this!

I generally rarely comment on YT Videos. I'd say I comment 1 out of every 1000 videos, but felt compelled to comment on this one. I wanted to say this was one of the best and "most real" videos from "gurus" that I've watched. First of all, there is almost no editing/cutting. It's almost a continuous unscripted video. Second, it's felt very honest which is a rarity on YT these days. Thanks for sharing your insights, they were quite valuable.

What you've said is so true. You get to a point of emptiness, everything that you have always wanted to do and have was nothing in the end. What do you do when you have everything? Life is so boring when you have nothing to strive for. Trips, places, material things don't matter in the end. I now find entertainment with dressing as a normal human being giving money away to people who need it. Giving is your next calling. Trust me, it feels great.

Thanks for the honesty! It may sound arrogant to some but the golden nugget is about how money is not a problem-solving tool. Most people would want your problems as they are not in your perspective, not putting themselves in your shoes to see things in your view. It sounds good to have a lot of money, solving short-term problems but it comes with a different set of problems too, short-term and long-term ones. I guess the few main points is to understand the meaning of 'having enough', not to have an obsession with money and to recognise people's intention. This is a very good video if you fully understand the deeper meaning but it might not resonate with most people as they are here with the intention of solving their problems with money. Nonetheless, it's good to hear from the other side of life and I deeply appreciate your honesty, Nicholas. Off I go to click the subsribe button! :)

    Step 1: define your goals
Step 2: make sure you have these goals for the right reasons (your long term happiness?)
Step 3: visualize your path to achieving it
Step 4: execute (hard work/determination/patience/consistency/accountability/really be able to look in the mirror)
If your “friends” treat you like that you’re not your friends. Surround yourself with people who deserve your company, know your worth. Be able to stand up for yourself and not be pushed around by desire and peer pressure

Bought this highly volatile Indian stock called IGC which was soaring so much for about $2k and I doubled my money by the third day, sold the stock only for me to get greedy or cocky or having a FOMO that I reinvested it all back in and it crashed that same day. I’m a bit young, work for Intel Corporation so I think it’s not a big deal losing that money but I can’t keep losing money like that and so I would really love if someone with your level of prowess could be my mentor

    • @Duomoinitiative
      @Duomoinitiative  4 года назад +12

I would say most experienced traders will lose trades more often than new traders. If you look at the win/loss profile, new traders are defined by many small wins and few huge losses, since they’ll close winning trades early and hold onto losing trades too long out of hope and loss aversion. One of the keys to becoming a good trader is being willing to take a (relatively smaller) loss and knowing when it’s time to hop out of the trade.
