I've been washing the inside of my boots after every ride and the boots are still in perfect condition. if i told you how old they are you wouldn't believe me let's just say the soles have been replaced multiple times lol but i to put the boots on a boot drier immediately after washing them (highly recommended getting a boot drier) sweat is acidic and will eat your boots if you don't wash the inside not to mention its just gross not to wash the inside.
Riders or "athletes " are spoiled these days when someone washes your boots . Then again he could be too busy training or watching video to wash his own boots . I've lost interest in watching MX since riders became prima donnas and 2 strokes were phased out .

I tried a pair of Fox boots. Put them on felt them looked closely at the questionable buckles and then sent them right back for Alpinestars. ☹
