I found a Karl goetz medal 2 days ago for 50 bucks. “Return of the Saar “ it’s the real deal. Also 2 other medals, the appointment of hitler Toby Hindenburg in 33 the friendship medal they call it, and the Adolfo hitler silver medal in 1938. All three are silver, and nice. 150$ total. What a find. It’s still out there folks.
I know that this is 5 months late, but if you need info on civil war flags, the Indiana War Memorial and Museum has a huge collection of battle flags. At some point they were thrown away by a maintenance worker, but construction worker found them in a dumpster. Their collection is really amazing.
@@PawnMan most of what you have purchased is fake fantasy , 50 yrs collecting and thats a bad collection . The items you have shown and this video is an example of what not to buy , its provided good entertainment on militaria forums . Read some books and try researching the subject .
I do not like when some people want to erase history because it doesn't please them. . I tried to say that as nicely as I could. This is an amazing collection and should be preserved to keep the story alive. Yes, it was one of worst times in humanity, but just because it was horrible does not erase the fact it happened. I hope the person who purchases the collection does not melt it down, but does preserve it for the sake of its historical value. P.S. Yes, you were a little crispy to your "con-artist". He sounded like an elderly gentleman. People always think their possessions are priceless. 🌼
You'd have to be pretty rich to spend 50k on Nazi medals just to have the satisfaction of destroying them. And DONT FALL FOR THE CON ARTIST! I call him that for a reason!
@@PawnMan Good point about spending that much money to just destroy it. . .but rich and crazy people are alive and well. LOL! I used to own my own business and I know how some customers try to break your last nerve, so I get it. That few moments on camera just didn't tell the whole background. In any event, I, my husband, family, and friends adore your content. Love, love, love the way you present your products and how knowledgeable you are. MUCH more entertaining than Netflix! YOU need your own show! 🌼
Well if I hit the Powerball or Mega millions in the next couple of days, bam, I buy them all. Always love your videos, so much energy and good content.
Several of the coins that I've verified are fantasy items. I have lost faith in PCGS for allowing these things to be put in their slabs. At least they note that they are fantasy items when you search up the cert, but it is still incredibly bad faith in my opinion. What a lot of people don't realize is that a lot of the items, especially government approved ones from that time were not very overt, like the fantasy items often are. It is important to objectively view these items so you can determine what are real and what are fantasy. I would consider buying fantasy items infinitely worse as they are not preserving history and giving money to the most unsavory of individuals.
I feel you on receiving gifts making you uncomfortable. It's so bad for me that my wife always has to say that I don't know how to react to them, and my closest friends and family know the deal and make fun of me for it. XD
Thanks for doing videos man I love them! I knew nazi stuff was super interesting but didnt even thing about medals or coins these are insanely cool wish I had the money to collect lol🤙🏻
Great video. You truly get why it's important to curate artifacts even if they're from objectively horrible people/organizations/etc. I love your content, I appreciate the history lesson you provide, and I hope you got a good deal selling those medals. I also hope the person who bought them is of the same mindset as the two of us. Fuck Nazis.
It would ironically poetic if a hasidic jew paid for the entire collection to donated it to a museum. They would legit deserve an engraved plaque in your store.
BTW........................what you rec from me was NOT TROLLING, it was sound advice provided after having listened thru entire video (3x in parts) then writing comment. Some battery's would assume, on an informal basis, the last name of their commander. A local sponsor or group back in Ohio who financially assisted in formation of the volunteer battery likely paid for or produced this flag. The Flag is in need of significant conservation, as most usually do. The flag should ultimately be mounted and framed under glass, especially since it is only one sided (nothing lost in mounting). That’s an incredible find
Funny how History continues to repeat itself...

I appreciate you preserving our history. Even the dark times of our history must be learned. Forgotten history turns into repeated history.
I'm glad that you are keeping history alive. So much of what is taught today is the winners version. Not always the same as the truth.
Id pay a lot of money to know where con artist gets that crap from
