    Really diggin this. Beautiful atmosphere
stepping into the chillout side of the magic hushroom. Great ending. I could hear your gal singing there, and possibly transform into a new section. Big up Will! Stoked to feel this tune tonight.

glad you liked it.............once in a while I decide to do a little prep, instead of full on improv..........(beats, etc.)...always good to mix it up......

thanks...........once in a while I actually program beats, etc. in advance (I usually just do improv), and it's nice when sessions come together with a blend of prep and randomness

Ah love this. Are all these voices coming from the deluge itself? Or are they samples you programmed in? How are you making these amazing tones. This is incredible.

Hey, thanks v much for your comment..........everything is coming out of the Deluge, then into the effects pedals, but yeah, I do a shitload of multisampling of other synths, soft synths, etc. I don't use the internal synth engine for very many sounds, but there are a few things it does well..........if you check my other uploads, you'll see I use a few different pieces of gear from time to time, but most of my sessions are purely improvised and more ambient....(this one had a couple of quickly preprogrammed tracks obviously)

@ awesome. I’ll have to look more into it. It seems like a very versatile machine. Love your music!

Thanks...........so much great gear out there these days - honestly, once you connect with a piece of gear that fits your workflow, that's all you need - too many options, and hopefully, we don't really all need to be buying new gear just to keep inspired.......The Deluge is a great box for some things, but it's limited for others.........if I were just starting out, I might be looking more seriously at the Elektron stuff, but I've decided to pull whatever I can out of what I have...........sorry for the rant.............I'll keep my eye on your channel to hear what you're up to........

@ yeah I totally agree. I’ve decided to use what I have and not get anything else at least until I put on my first live show. I think the limitation produces creative value when you limit yourself to what you have you have to figure it out, makes you dig deep. I’ve seen a lot of people keep buying more and more and they never seem to produce anything. Also giving something you’ve bought a solid chance, or many chances, before giving up on it and buying something else. I’ve been on a long up and down journey with the Disting EX and I’ve finally found the sweet spot. There were so many times I was like I gotta get rid of this thing and I stuck with it and now I love it and because of all the futzing I know it soooo well, which feels really good. I could talk about this stuff all day, never hesitate to go on a rant with me 😁

I can relate. have a dear friend who collects gear.....Honestly, I don't know how well he gets to know any particular piece of gear....he's onto the next purchase - these days it takes a lot of time to get to know how to get the most out of any synth, etc........I'm in my 60's now, and - because I was playing as a full time pro, and making serious coin, I purchased all sorts of stuff over the years. Now, I limit myself to very little, and I totally agree - limitations help to push us to great discoveries....................
