@@willswitchcraft Yeah i understand...i do some live streams and some of them reach 1 hour...i do not expect everyone to listen to it all the way. BUT sometimes people prefer long versions to have some music in the background while they working on something , or painting , reading ...you know !

I don't know how many people will pick up on that tune, but I new the band and Doug back in the 80's, and always loved that intro....Just decided to play with it, (but frankly, his riff and sound was way more happening than this is)

Cooooool. Yeah, pedals make all the difference - making it stereo and immersing it in fx really breathes life into it....

@@willswitchcraft The Microfreak goes very well with the Ambient settings for my guitar. I just tried it and it’s really easy to get great sounds.

I totally hear you. I too find it frustrating when I play a synth (or soft synth) and there are a shipload of things going on with the depression of one key. I guess I've also found so many great sounds within Omnisphere, that include little or no effects and leave the magic to the performance/composition. It has great textural and character rich sounds, including psychoacoustic sounds, that I've never heard anywhere else. It's a hard choice - lots of great options out there these days..........thanks for your comment

I find any piece of gear or powerful software these days requires a really serious commitment to get deeply into, and a lot out of.

@ My favorite keyboard is still my Steinway B circa 1912 :). I took some time off from composing to focus on school and to build my dream studio but hoping to get back into next year. I’ve always been into synths but my main instrument is percussion. I made my living composing orchestral music for video games for several years so I want to combine all these with a hybrid instrumental album. Not sure if it will make any money but it will be my first album that wasn’t composed for a video game or library music. I’m in my early 60s now so it’s about time to just do a vanity project:) thanks again for your content. I’ll check out some of your other videos!

Sounds great. I'm 65. I just play with synths for fun now, but I had a good career as a full time pro musician, so no complaints.....

Yeah, this one still sounds pretty good to me, a year later.............thanks for circling back........honestly, sometimes I listen to older uploads, and I really question some of the changes I've made to my set up, and also my approach - there are times it seems it's worth taking stock in an honest, brutal way, in order to make sure I'm on track to whatever I'm hoping to achieve...........

Agreed. the Mystery Island Music/Aura Plug ins software is a real godsend, but it is disgraceful that the company has just dropped the ball.

cool that you got a Snow......yes, it can be overwhelming when there are so many patches. You could probably simply wipe them all, then import just a few, or create your own. I'd suggest looking at the Access Virus Users Forum for more information in insights. Lots of good information there.
