This car does NOT have a mechanical CVT gearbox. In fact it really doesn't HAVE a gearbox in the normal sense. Everything is mostly electrical except for switching via a clutch to drive the wheels directly by the engine at a speed around 100kmph. There are gear shafts and geared wheels but they remain in constant contact except when the internal hydraulically operated clutch and external clutch do their work respectively. There are no BELTS driving gears. EDIT: The "gears" change so smoothly because the engine drives a generator that charges the battery and or simultaneously powers the main driving motor. So the simulated gears are incredibly smooth because there's no mechanical changes going on whatsoever - it's just a change in electrical power output!!!
Now you're cooking with Gasoline bra! Secondly, I think regarding it's entire design & looks. It's absolutely distinct, sleek & modern design language which is a significant development from the previous Honda Jazz models. I wish you showcased the magic seats & boot capacity, a Polo doesn't see anything there. The only downside in my eyes is that bloody CVT gearbox & the current pricing. Should Honda bring a manual Elegance to the country, I'm running to a dealership because this will definitely outlast a Polo, from a practicality, reliability perspective. Whilst also proving to cheaper to insure in long term. Thanks for showcasing this vehicle.. Let me get back to making these coins & be ready when Honda hear my call
It's the jazz in other market. The fit is the same as the ones produced for Japan (Japan Domestic Market) JDM. So this a proper quality car, way much better than the Jazz in terms of quality of materials
This car has adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and lane departure monitoring. All great safety features
I don't know man, I kinda like it🔥
